A simple eatery serving Cantonese roasts, soups, rice and noodle toppings. You might say this is fast food too although nothing is microwaved. The roasts are hanging there to be sliced and chopped to be dished out as rice toppings. So, if there is a queue, specially during lunch and dinner, don’t worry, it won’t take long to move. I timed it once and it takes them less than a minute to assemble a rice topping lunch box😊and bag it. Noodles need to be blanched so that takes a little longer. Fried rice is cooked to order and also takes about 5 minutes. The prices used to be just a tad pricier than meal boxes but today June 2, 2024 - I saw the new prices and it’s now at least 30% higher than average meal boxes of the same level of eatery. For Cantonese small scale eateries, I still think they have the best roast duck. The crispy pork is mostly good but can sometimes not have the crisp. They have the best egg noodles of all eateries I’ve tried, very close to what we can get in Hongkong. For some reason, not one restaurant in Taiwan can duplicate the egg noodles in Hongkong that is ubiquitous at all roasts shops and noodle houses. Service is brusque without any niceties😀Don’t expect and you won’t get disappointed.

Not really hong know style roasted duck. The taste totally different from HK favourite. The wan tan mee soup is totally out and the Wantan is also doesn't taste the same. Probably is Taiwanese style roasted instead of HK style roasted.

In my opinion, not worth it The queue was long, the price was okay Ordered 2 portions of noodles for me and my friends and both of them were very salty Even my friend can't manage to finish it because it's too salty

This place offers very good authentic traditional cantonese food. This place makes you see them making the food. They have a decent bathroom too. The restaurant gives free water and has a lot of meat when it comes to ordering the dishes. Very authetnic experience. The menu varies between roast duck, soup and chasiu. And it is also next to other tourist destinations too. Like hamashen and shoushan park. Public transportation is near too including buses, metro, and light rail. There is a market really near too. Overall, the restaurant has good food, service, accessibility, food options, and atmosphere. As a cantonese, I approve...
