Café Entice — Restaurant in Tainan

Wanted something a little different than the typical Taiwanese dishes I was enjoying and decided to try this place.

The restaurant is on the second floor and had a nice vibe when I arrived and the hostess greeted and sat me down promptly so my first impression was a good one

I decided on the vegetarian frittata and the matcha with a shot of espresso. The meal was excellent and appreciated the use of local fresh ingredients and that the veggies were sauteed a bit prior to adding them to the eggs and not overcooked.

Really slow service, took almost an hour to get my coffee. The eggs Benedict is small, overpriced, was overcooked, and with STRONG taste of vinegar so I couldn’t taste anything else. And the bread underneath is not burnt enough and is just bad texture and chewy. Atmosphere is bad too, not any nice background music or something, just background noises of the cook fighting his own kitchen.
