Tainan A-Hui fried eel — Restaurant in Tainan

Since eel noodle is one of the most famous food in Tainan, it makes this place the first food stall I have ever visited during my first trip there. The price for the noodle (100 NTD) is a little bit high since eel is expensive I think. Overall it tasted good, the broth is sour and sweet, the noodle is soft and delicious though the eel is little bit hard to chew. This city is well known for eel stir fry and this chain too. The eel with noodles was stronger in sweetness than sourness, typical of Tainan. The squid was fresh, easy to chew, but salty. Unfortunately, this is a terrible location from the point of view of the customers. This place deserves no stars. It used to be a nice place to eat. Now it is overpriced, staffed by rude employees and the trademark taste of the 意麵 is no more.
