Bar TCRC — Restaurant in Tainan

TCRC, another secret alley bar in the centre of tainan, opened from 7pm till 2.00 in the morning, really great Ambience, antique decorations, pop and rock music, dope items, funny writings and great choice of liquor. The best bartenders I have ever met In tainan, hats off to these guys to make me high for the first time in tainan, the best cocktails served. First I had L0NG ISLAND, I was half done, my sense were like, why not go for a another one and make this night the most fun night ever, then the bartender suggested AROUND THE WORLD, I said don't add coke on the top as I don't take carbonated drinks, so he suggested wine, my goodness the drink was mind boggling and that striked My head... My friend a PURPLE DIAMOND a well known girlish drink 🍸, which she said was also good and so Pleasing. Try not to puke there or else u will be fined with 1000$ ntd. Rates are reasonable, not too expensive not too cheap. Main thing is that they don't serve food, only cold food is available, so be prepared for that, either u eat before you drink or try to take some chips or snacks with you. They just have the bar chairs where u can sit, no specific tables or couple seats, so all can have the pleasure of the bar scene and the skills the bartenders...

Was deciding between this bar and another bar nearby and decided to just go for this as it had a more cozy vintage vibe to it. Patronised this establishment on a Monday night, so there wasn't any issues with seats and/or waiting time.

Ordered a total of 5 drinks. 3 menu drinks and 2 customised drinks. And all were absolutely impressive. More so for the customised drinks. One was kiwi and gin based while the other was a fruit of the day special, guava, with rum base.

Drinks had distinct notes you could taste, so it was a great experience. You're able to order skewers and sides from outside of the bar at a grill stall just around the corner. I'd recommend the grilled shishamos, 4 pieces for NT$40. Absolute banger combi with the drinks if I can say so myself.

The staff were courteous, polite, and friendly. I'd recommend taking the bar seats as they were quite interesting to have conversations with. They ended up giving some recommendations for food, coffee, and bar places to visit here in Tainan and even in Taipei.

The best bar in Tainan and from my point of view even the best bar in Taiwan. They have all the single malt whiskeys you can ask for, various kinds of gin and vodka. The best you can do here is tell the bar tender what you like and let him prepare a custom cocktail for you. He will make sure that you are having one of the best cocktail you've had in your life! Although they could price their cocktails as high as they would like (cause it's definitely worth it and the serve better cocktails than some fancy overpriced locations in SE Asia like CeLaVi or Lebua State Tower in BKK) the prices are more than reasonable. Go there, enjoy the evening and let the friendly staff of TCRC treat you with awesome...
