Lemongrass fish Thai Restaurants — Restaurant in Tainan

Wonderful restaurant, delicious food, superb service. My friend and I are visiting Tainan and came in today--New Years Day. Many restaurants were closed but we were happy to see that this Thai restaurant was open. When we walked in, it was so full of people and laughter and delicious smells! The place was full and we considered leaving but the staff was so welcoming and made room for us. The menu has English translations. The owner (I believe she is the owner or manager) was Incredibly kind and attentive and spoke great English. Pleasant atmosphere some of the food was good. Unfortunately we had a misunderstanding with our order, which was mainly our fault, so we did not get the dishes we wanted. If you want vegetable dishes be very careful not to order "vegetarian" dishes, which are different! The waitress was apologetic, but insisted that we take what we ordered, including a huge bowl of soup which I'm sure wasn't freshly made so could just have been taken back before we had touched it.
