ZAOKA — Restaurant in Tainan

Great breakfast, excellent coffee, great service, amazing decor.

The coffee is really good. One of the few times I ordered black coffee and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was. Clearly they're using good quality coffee and have a good barista and processes. For the coffee people: it tasted like a really nicely pulled espresso shot with some sort of anaerobic processed coffee, which I normally don't love but was really good!

Food was awesome. Really creative flavours and ingredients which are typical to Tainan. The food was super tasty and healthy too. I wish I could go back. I had the shrimp steamed rice with egg salad. It came with some really nice fermented/preserved veggies.

The place is gorgeous and the staff were really helpful even though we didn't speak the language. It was just easy, pleasant, beautiful and tasty! Reasonably priced too, all up...

This brunch restaurant/ coffee shop took the experience to another level! If you wanna escape the city to the nature while enjoying a delicious brunch with a cup of coffee, you just have to go there! The concept of the place is amazing! The service is excellent and the staff are so lovely! The food is generous, few dishes, yet they could be tempting for any taste! And the coffee is a premium quality! We tried all the dishes on the menu and it’s so hard to recommend only one! was recommend by a friend to this famous cafe in Tainan for brunch, went on a Friday morning at 9am and there was no waiting time

Interior was very unique with lots of greenery and was told this was repurposed from a 70 year old building

Very passionate and kind staff who took the time to explain the organic ingredients Got the chicken thigh salad, matcha latte & dessert of the day: layered sponge cake with ice cream

High quality ingredients for the price, suitable for a healthy palate! However if you’re not really into health food it may taste too clean? 😅
