We went there for the first time (7Sept) and we didn't know how to get into the bar😅. We ordered Winter Melon beer and butter beer. The WM beer is to my liking as I like sweet beer. You can smell the fragrance of the Winter Melon and taste the sweetness of the Winter Melon. We thought of ending this trip with a sweet note, so we visited the bar again. The butter beer is still creamy and salty, but my winter Melon was a disappointment last night (9 Sept). It was bitter like normal beer with only a hint of Winter Melon fragrance. The lovely lady bartender was super nice to open another bottle to let me try as I told her it was different from what I drank the night before. The next bottle was still bitter and she tried to make a service recovery by offering another flavour. I declined but it was nice of her to offer. 👍👍 Although it left a bitter in my mouth but her service left a sweet memory...

This is a must go place in Tainan. You will be wowed at the moment you walk in with super wide glass door like a wall that rotates. Then, you will be welcomed by super hospitable staff that will make you feel at home with great recommendations of beers. My personal favorite: butter beer that foams like crazy. I hope people at Universal is reading this so they’ll incorporate it with their Harry Potter events. They also have many original brews like beer made of smoky plums or one made with star anise: distinct Taiwan twist. Very unique yet tasteful beer. Very good beer. Been travelling Asia for months and haven't had as many good beers in one place as I had here - you're spoiled for selection of creative beer: IPAs, stouts, milkshake IPAs, even butterbeer. It's a single room with benches all along the perimeter and a bar in the middle, which provokes conversation with your neighbours - this part was also very fun.

If you're trying to figure out how to get in - push the huge window, it's actually a door. They need a sign or something, we saw pretty much everyone struggle to figure out how to get inside 🤣

Also, it's on the pricey side, $180 per glass, $350...
