While looking for Taiwan cuisine restaurant to have dinner, I started my search from Taipei 101 and stumbled to 珍珠台湾佳味@Breeze Nanshan (微风南山),which is located just opposite of Taipei 101’s right wing. I like the modern decor of the restaurant and emphasis on the hilights of Taiwan cuisine. I was recommended a set dinner for 2 with choices for the type of meat,vegetables and dessert. A dish I recommend a must to have is the Stir fry oysters with fermented beans and youtiao. That’s right, youtiao was in that dish. The youtiao was cut to bit size and deep fried to crisp and was placed on the side of the dish with the stir fried oysters in the centre. The taste was flavourful as the oysters taste fresh and succulent as compared to what we can eat at Singapore. The combo of the fermented beans bring out the umami out of the oysters. Suitable to eat with rice. Overall expense was around NTD$2000++...

The plating on the scallion chicken was nice, I might try this plating composition next time I make this dish. The chicken was ok, but not excellent. For 5 stars I expect there to be a layer of oil in between the chicken skin and chicken meat.
The braised pork was ok, flavour was there, could have been braised a bit more longer for more tenderness.
Legit 3 stars, food definitely needs to be better for a maxed out 5 star rating.
The bill for the 2 dishes (small braised pork) and a white rice was $865. Maybe even a 2 star rating.
The service was great tho and the menu seemed authentic. If it weren’t for the great service, would definitely rate this place 2 stars.

排骨稍硬 帶骨 但蜜棗家人說很好吃 個人覺得價格偏高不一定要點啦😅 鹽焗雞肉質稍柴 個人也覺得不一定要點 油條鮮蚵超下飯 重口味的人會愛🥰 蛤蜊飽滿大顆 可以點✅ 鱸魚是一整條的炸魚 淋上五柳枝醬汁 我覺得算CP值蠻高的一道 很像國外中華料理會有的酸甜醬汁 非常下飯🤤 油燜筍真的有雞湯的味道 上面有一層膠質 很好吃 美中不足的可能是筍子有些較硬的外層沒有削乾淨 會有口感偏硬的部分🙏🏻 會想再訪的中式 但大多口味偏重 我自己很愛但吃比較清淡的可能要慎選菜色🤣

酸白菜牛肉真的很讚欸✅ 白菜有夠酸 肉也很嫩 超級下飯 油條鮮蚵今天的蚵仔超新鮮 大顆又飽滿✨ 五柳魚一樣也是重口味的必點菜色🤤 炒水蓮好吃 不會太鹹👌🏻 茄子有點硬 沒有入味 有點可惜🥺 脆蘿蔔好吃 會辣 也是重口味的小菜🌶️ 目前覺得鮮蚵 酸白菜牛肉 跟五柳魚都很可以點✅ 下次去再嘗試看看其他道🥰
