-5/10 First time trying sushiro in my life. Tl;dr : if you like Sushiro Taiwan, you've clearly got terrible taste or have never had good low-medium priced conveyer belt sushi.
This is by far the worst tasting conveyer belt sushi I've ever had in my life. Sushi express tastes much better than this and is way cheaper. The tuna tastes old and is paper thin but the price is astronomical. The sushi rice is cold and hard, machine pressed and not fluffy at all. Empty condiment container. Wheres the salt in the salt shaker ? Is sushiro so broke they can't afford salt ? Salt & lemon slice salmon but comes unsalted ??? I didn't feel any warmth in their greeting and during payment, the wall has more human emotions and warmth than the workers.
How do you screw up food so badly ? The ice cream just tastes "white" it doesn't even taste like cheap ice cream, portions are small compared to other sushi restaurants and the quality is worse than a roadside stall selling sushi in summer.
I feel like my $810 of my hard earned money was stolen today. I came excited to try and experience sushiro that my friends and coworkers raved about but left with lower energy levels than before and disgust at the quality and experience. You couldn't pay me all the money, gold and treasures in the world to return and give sushiro another chance. I sincerely hope that sushiro in other countries isn't this terrible. I'm holding back on using expletives in this review.
P.s. it says fried crab meat sushi but it's imitation crab so it's just fried fish paste on cold hard rice. Also the tablet noise is so loud I get a heart attack every time an order is served or the...
Read moreThe restaurant is quite big, albeit the rather small building. It's able to house some people inside, and at the time of my visit, we didn't have to wait to be seated. The employees were friendly and their service was quick. We were a little confuse at first, but the employees assisted us nicely. We were a party of 5 adults and 2 children, unfortunately there was no big table that's able to accommodate us nicely, so our seats were (a little) uncomfortably small and crowded. Being a new restaurant, their cleanliness was superb. But I wish they'd place their sauce plate and their tissue at the table, not separate.
The sushi itself; they served the food quite fast, the longest we had to wait was around 5~10 minutes, but we were talking so time passed by and I may be wrong with my estimation. I like their fried sushi, and their seaweed miso soup. The sushi's price is so-so, not cheap but also not too expensive. They start at $40.
Their ice cream tastes a little too sweet for me, I feel like the sugar is stronger than the milky, creamy taste, which was unfortunate, because I was looking for the...
Read moreHad the most amazing sushi for lunch, and I'm still thinking about it! The fish was so fresh, and the rice was perfectly seasoned - a true delight for my taste buds. However, the miso soup was a bit of a letdown because it tasted way too salty, which kind of ruined the experience. I'm not sure if it was a one-time thing or if it always tastes like that. Next time, I will probably...
