I stumbled into this eatery quite by chance. Looking at the menu / photos outside the shop, I noticed it was serving several familiar Cantonese dishes. I ordered a mutton dish (三丝炒酱羊肉) and a dish of water spinach (空心菜) while my friend ordered the "stinky tofu" soup. The food was simply delicious and the portions were generous. Ordinarily, I don't really like the smell of stinky tofu but I did try the soup and it was very tasty. It is an unpretentious eatery with a surprisingly good selection of dishes at very affordable prices. I saw several customers ordering their "bento" meal. A "bento" meal starts at only around NT$120 (less than US$4) and suitable for an individual diner. The meal for the two of us was less than NT$500. The shop is a short 10 min walk from Taipei Main Station Exit M7. We live around Nanjing E Road / Tianjin Road and so it wasn't too far for us to walk either.
