Pizza is pretty good, but a bit expensive. Had a red and green pizza, but not the white pizza yet. Their red chili peppers are pretty standard for pizza joints, but waitress said they were very spicy, which they were not. Also, they don't have parmesan cheese to add to the pizza.
For carryout, they tape up the boxes if you buy more than one, however this is still difficult to transport on scooter. It would be better if they use a ribbon tie so that one hand can hold the ribbon tie rather than needing to hold the boxes in a much riskier way on the scooter.
Lastly, I was very disappointed in the customer service and rule that pizzas can not be pre-ordered to be finished at a certain time if eating in, but only for carryout. The reason they gave is that the owner believes this will hurt the quality of the pizza, which I can understand, but if the customer is willing to accept that possible hurt in quality for the sake of time, then I believe it's a good policy to serve the customer according to their needs.
My specific need is that I have two young children (2 and 5 months and 10 months). If we have to order once we arrive at the restaurant and wait 10-20 minutes for our pizzas, it could mean a lot more crying that would affect the environment of the whole restaurant. And yes, we bring snacks for the kids, but I don't want to be serving kids 10-20 minutes of snacks. And yes, I could do other things to distract the kids, but seriously, can't you make it a bit easier for parents or families with young children? It's already hard enough to take care of kids, couldn't you be a bit more flexible?
I think all you need to do is warn the customer who asks for this service that the pizza quality may be affected. If they say it's okay and they still want to pre-order the pizzas so that it will be ready or close to ready when they arrive, then I think it's fine to let them have it. But if they agree with you and say I'll order when I get to the restaurant for quality sake, then that's fine too. At least give people a choice.
Otherwise, you come off a bit pretentious as a pizza restaurateur as if you were running a 3 star michelin restaurant. I mean it's pizza, if it can't be enjoyed with the family, then...
Read moreBeen here two times, and the 2nd time was better than the first. It's New York style pizza which is a perfect size to split for two people if you're not too hungry. The outside crust was really nice. They have a selection of pizzas with tomato-based red sauce, white pizzas, and green pizzas with pesto sauce. The first time, we tried the Django for 460 NT. I have to say the taste was a bit overwhelming on rosemary, fennel sausage, and spice. We also ordered the sauteed roasted veggies which we could have made at home and also were a bit overloaded with rosemary. I'm so glad we went back a 2nd time. We ordered a white pizza, this time choosing the Triceratops. This was an excellent choice, and I really loved the brussels sprouts as toppings. More pizzarias should add this topping if they haven't already. The local beer was good. First time I got a Saison for 200 NT, and the 2nd time an IPA for 220 NT. Looking forward to trying the pesto version and hoping the shop gets better and better. ...
Read moreIG: foodie_foxx Best pizza in the whole country.. please do go early as they would be out of dough and please do call them before going in. The place is super busy, we travelled from Tainan to eat this pizza, we missed their lunch because they were out of pizza dough and then we roamed around for 4 hours and then came in for dinner. Wow those 4 hours were worth the wait. So soft, so delicious pizza served hot hot. Their mozzarella cheese is the best part. Would melt inside ur mouth when u take a bite. We ordered the Django and sollozzo, sollozzo being the spicy one was our favorites. We also ordered both the starters, roasted cauliflower and chefs sausage, again the sausage was really juicy and tasty, it also had some filings inside which made it yummylitious. Cauliflower with mushroom sauce was average, we like the sauce but cauliflower was to dry.. they also serve a lot of kids of bottle beers, we felt the beers were a bit pricey, so we stuck with coke. Best pizza 🍕 ever Bon appetite...
