This review is very biased because I’ve lived in Taiwan and absolutely love the food. Not sure how pickier eaters would respond.
This is an absolutely delicious breakfast! We tried the signature, and the egg balls. You can add egg to any of the rolls for an additional price, and I would recommend it! They’re hard boiled soy-marinated, and absolutely delicious. I’m a huge fan of the additional Chinese donut (fried stick) for texture in the roll. Large portion that will keep you full. Some people in my group said they would like more filling to rice ratio, but I love glutinous rice and thought it was perfect.

I bought a sweet and salty rice ball (半鹹半甜飯糰), planning to have it for lunch on my last day in taiwan, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to bring it back to my country and had it for supper a good 12 hrs later. Other than the dough stick (油條),going soggy due to it being wrapped in the rice ball for a good 12 hrs, everything else was still perfect...perhaps the rice was harder compared to eating it fresh.
