Miao Yuan vegetarian restaurant — Restaurant in Zhongzheng District

Popular lunch spot for vegetarian (NOT vegan, though some options are vegan) buffet, paid for by weight. My total (for a full paper plate) came out to be NT$170. There are a lot of tables in the back, but it can still get crowded. The food looks fresh; while I was there, some workers came out with fresh dishes. Some of the dishes are a bit on the oily / salty side, but it's all pretty tasty. They also have some egg options, like tea egg, tomato egg, and scrambled egg with things. You can separately get rice. Really yummy...

Take a paper plate, take whatever dish you want, there will be a scale that will convert the weight to price. Many variety of dish you can choose from. The taste is fantastic. Tell the cashier you need rice, they will give you a paper bowl. You can get the rice behind. There are white rice and brown rice to choose from....
