This was an unexpected highlight of our visit to Arusha. We arrived late morning and were given a tour by one of the artists, then around 12 or 12:30 lunch made by local women was available. The food was delicious and very affordable - even after I added a large tip it was one of the cheapest meals we had in Tanzania. The whole feeling of this place is lovely, with the walking trails, a bridge over the river, the sounds of happy kids from a daycare, the art, the food. A great place to spend a couple of hours. Follow the signed trail into the valley to get to it.
