The Palm Brasserie's buffet at Tsh 75,000 is not only a meal; it's a culinary journey. It's an experience that blends quality, variety, and affordability seamlessly. Whether you're a local resident or a traveler exploring the area, I highly recommend indulging in this buffet for an unforgettable dining experience that showcases the best of Hyatt Regency's culinary offerings. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and elegant. The staff were attentive and courteous, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The selection of dishes ranged from delectable local specialties to international favorites, catering to a wide range of tastes. The freshness of the ingredients used in the dishes was evident, and each item was prepared with care. What stood out most was the attention to detail. The presentation of each dish was visually appealing, and the flavors matched the aesthetics. Whether it was the succulent meats, flavorful vegetarian options, or the indulgent desserts, every bite was a delight.

During my recent visit to Dar es Salaam, I had the pleasure of dining at the Palm Restaurant, where I sampled their renowned curry chicken. The dish surpassed all expectations, with tender chicken infused with aromatic spices that created a symphony of flavors. The richness of the curry sauce was perfectly balanced, leaving a satisfying warmth that lingered with each bite. In addition to the goan fish curry, I also indulged in their chicken and beef kabobs, which were equally impressive. The meat was grilled to perfection, boasting a tantalizing char and infused with a delightful blend of spices. Paired with fragrant rice and crisp vegetables, these kabobs provided a burst of savory goodness in every mouthful. Overall, my experience at the Palm Restaurant was exceptional. Their goan fish curry and chicken and beef kabobs are a must-try for anyone visiting Dar es Salaam, offering a culinary journey that delights the senses with impeccable flavors and attentive service.

Good Brunch However there was no chocolate mousse or chocolate souffle this time so missed it a lot in the desserts section... esp as the first brunch of the new year one looks forward to a bit of chocolate to spice up the celebrations. The place was full of course and as one would have expected it to be. However one area that could certainly improve was the fact that till about 1 pm the grills & dimsum section wasn't ready. So we had to hang around with salads and soups till everything else kind of came online. Would rather suggest to open up the seating at a time when the spread is all set and ready to go. Loved the shawarma it was very succulent and delicious. That was surely worth the wait.
