Cafe Africa Shops in Stone Town, Zanzibar is a true gem! From the moment I stepped in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel welcome. The cafe and shop’s unique blend of local crafts, spices, and delightful coffee creates an authentic Zanzibari experience. The variety of high-quality, handcrafted items showcases the talent and rich culture of the local artisans. Whether you’re looking for souvenirs or one-of-a-kind pieces, Cafe Africa Shops has a diverse selection that caters to all tastes. The coffee here is a must-try – aromatic and rich, it captures the essence of Zanzibar. We loved the spiced coffee! The cozy ambiance invites you to sit back, relax, and savor the flavors while surrounded by the beautiful decor. What truly sets this place apart is the warm hospitality of the staff. They are not just knowledgeable about the products but also eager to share stories about the culture and history of Zanzibar. It’s evident that they take pride in their heritage and are passionate about providing an authentic experience to visitors. Cafe Africa Shops is not just a store; it’s a cultural journey. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a taste of Zanzibar’s vibrant spirit and a memorable shopping experience. Kudos to the team for creating a haven that celebrates the beauty and diversity of this enchanting island!

The best local coffee shop with a great cause. We met the friendliest locals here who have made our afternoons cozy and memorable. Definitely worth a visit whether for a quick pit-stop from the long walks in Stone Town’s narrow alleys, or simply to browse and buy very cute handcraft souvenirs.

A beautiful, quaint little cafe right in the heart of Stone Town. You can recognize it immediately by the picket fence filled with handmade dolls by local Zanzibari women! Come get a tasty coffee and soak in the energy through the open window.

I'm shocked this place has so many good reviews. I was there this afternoon and it was the worst experience I've had since I came to Zanzibar. They didn't have 50% of their menu. I wanted latte, they didn't have so I don't mind I changed to black tea, after a few minutes I found out they don't have either, so I ordered green tea.. And in the end I pay 5000 and I gave him 10.000 and he gave me back 4000 in banknotes and then ask me "Are you really want the 1000 in coins?" I said yes because I wasn't satisfied with the service at all so I didn't want to give any tip and he looked at me very strange. Never again. Every place in Zanzibar I have been is nice, but...
