Riverside Terrace — Restaurant in Bang Rak Subdistrict

We came early as the terrace is only open for guest after 5:30pm , we stay inside at the Verandah. Just so happen it was a rainy day as well.

The service is superb in comparison with Hilton Pattaya where was just lousy. Even the price is much valuable at Mandarin than Hilton. Hilton Pattaya was attractive with the view of Pattaya Bay but the management made a big mistake of taking group tours and totally spoiled the place.

From taking order to delivery, Mandarin maintained her top notch professionalism. Not like Pattaya Hilton that even wrongly delivered.

Mandarin offer a la carte menu as well as cake set with numerous choice of cakes and coffee/tea at 295++(3-6pm only) comparing to Pattaya Hilton 790 for a tea set which is of commercial ingredients.

Mandarin is a World Number One Hotel for sure. Just so happened that our lady left her wallet at the restroom but only realized after an hour. We went to the restroom but nothing was found. We reported to the receptions immediately. After half an hour, Lost & found delivered the wallet intact to our table. We were grateful for whoever returned the wallet to Lost & Found. When we arrived they seemed confused with our reservation and tried to sell us the international buffet instead of a table in the "normal restaurant", we also asked for a specific table to have a nice view but we didn't get it - the two women weren't nice at all and pretty directive.

The service was okay not as great as the one in the mandarin oriental in Singapore, one of the waiters (a young male) was very nice.

Food was okay, but not great, portions are decent.

Globally not impressed at all with the quality of the service (at reception & parking was as bad, they don't care much) and the food was okay so definitely not a great value or experience.. not a fan of the Mandarin...

Absolutely 1000% perfect. Amazing, and I really do mean that. Wonderful staff who made you feel so welcome and managed to achieve the perfect balance of professionalism and 5 star service without being pretentious. The food quality and array of choice was sublime. Cooking and ingredients to the highest standard. Thank you so much to head chef Martin who took time to chat to us.
