It’s my #1 place in Pranakorn area and i have been eating here since forever. My recommendation is 1. Do not go to early Saturday morning, they will always be lack of supply. 2. Do not go to the first hour of their opening if u want rice cuz it’s not yet cooked . LOL 3. If you wanna eat “Tendon”, don’t go beyond 1 pm. 4. Just get normal noodles, cuz It’s already good. 5. Bear with the heat and their services, the service may not be great or even good but the quality and taste are the same since forever. (Writing this, I miss the last owner so much, Arkong was so kind) 6. If u want the same taste, better service. Go to Yee Siph Luhk, it owns by the 2nd gen. 7. I order whatever on my mood, so, i have no recommendation on what should u get but they are all good. 8. For Thai, pls bear with Korean customers too, cuz they will normally take ur place/seat fast and this is because the system is confusing and the weather is hot hot. So, i dont blame them tho cuz they didn’t know. Im stating things like this cuz every time i go there with Thais, they are all angry about this. 9. For Korean, 이것은 태국 최고의 쇠고기 국수입니다. 건너뛰지 말아주세요 10. Enjoy ♥️♥️♥️

Many Bangkok restaurants cater towards tourists, but this is a real traditional Thai style restaurant, enjoyed by locals as well as tourists. I asked my Thai guide for a restaurant where they serve beef noodle because beef noodle soup is often harder to find than pork noodle soup. A very nice balanced broth, not extremely spicy and nice not too chewy flavored beef. Use the sauces on the table to bring it up to your specific taste. You'd better not come here during typical lunch hours because then the place is overcrowded. We visited around 2 pm and even then the place was quite full. Do not expect air conditioning or fancy tables though: this is eating with the locals, so although it may not be as comfortable as eating in a restaurant which only caters to foreigners, the restaurant delivers highly when it comes to the taste of the beef noodle soup at very reasonable prices.

This braised beef soup with rice is pure comfort in a bowl! The tender chunks of beef, slow-cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth, while the rich broth has a depth of flavor that wraps you up in warmth. The rice soaks up all the goodness, making each bite a little bit of heaven. After a long day at work, this dish hits all the right notes—hearty, satisfying, and packed with flavor. The service is friendly and attentive, and I noticed quite a few Korean diners, which tells me this place is the real deal. Definitely worth a return visit before I leave Bangkok. If you’re looking for a post-work pick-me-up, this spot should be on your list! PS: came here for breakfast the following day. 😜😜😜, had fresh beef noodle and short ribs noodle soup (second order ❤️❤️❤️).

nice food, but some staff are dishonest and try to charge extra fees. I visited twice, and each time, they attempted to overcharge me. The first time, when I asked for the check, a staff member presented a bill for ฿300 instead of the correct amount, ฿260. The second time was even more concerning. Although I received the correct bill for ฿180, when I paid with ฿500, the cashier—an old granny—only gave me ฿120 in change. Fortunately, I remembered the amount I had paid, and an honest staff member helped resolve the issue. Overall, while I appreciate the few honest staff members here, some seem like other dishonest staff intent on scamming tourists by adding extra charges. It’s really disappointing.

Quality beef noodle soup shop near Phra Atit, local and foreigner friendly. No aircon but comfy enough. Seems particularly popular among Korean tourists. Have English menu and the taste of beef soup and noodle is awesome. The noodle portion is not very big so price would be on the slight higher end compared to ordinary street food vendors (around 100-120b per bowl), but quality of meat, beef and fish balls are worth it. Recommend to order with rice for same price. Some younger staff is friendly and helpful, can speak English. A cute kitten in the shop. There is a bus stop across the street, pretty convenient.

Excellent Chinese style pho in Khao San area that serves intestines and organs. I went 3x my last two days in Khao San road. However, my last visit at night time was marred by a boy with a bad attitude because of a miscommunication. I ordered a combination noodle soup and was brought out combination dry soup. I clarified and said I wanted the combination beef pho soup and he brought out a small bowl of broth. I said , no can you just take the bowl of noodles and add broth to make it a noodle soup. He then became annoyed and had a lot of attitude; So I left.
