I dont recommend to buy any cruise on this pier. You will definitely get scammed. People pay prices for different tours and end up at the same boat (those who paid a 1 hour and 3 hours tour). Try to ask about some servises at the hotel instead of having stress with this scammers. Maybe if we would not pay for 3 h, we might also enjoy a tour as our boat neighbors who pay just a 1 h tour and and up on a tour for 1 h 40 minutes. Besides that we didnt travel not even close to the place that were showed us on the map and some of them (as we lerned after) dont work in the afyernoon at all. And if you have some other arrangements or not so much time, you shoulds trust it at all - you will not come back to the same pier, the boat captain doesnt come back on time to pick up the people to go to next sightseeing, nobody explains nothing and most likely you will be left on other side on the river in front of a tempel where entrance can be paid just by cash. It was adventurous but not very...
Read moreThree tours are advertised. They all do the same route. For 1000 baht you don't stop; for 1200 baht you have 30 minutes at the floating market; for 1500 baht you also stop for 20 minutes at the Big Buddha. Whatever you pay, you will all end up on the same boat! We paid 1000 each and got the 1500 tour. The ride in the boat is quite fun, and it is fascinating to see the backwater canals and a different way of life. There isn't much time anywhere, but the ride is good fun. Getting in and out of the boat is tricky and not suitable for mobility impaired people. We were told that we would return to where we started; in fact, we were deposited at a different pier about 2 km away. I know of people who were left on the other side of the river! So...it is enjoyable, but there...
