The River Cruise Pier in Bangkok offers a fantastic way to experience the city's vibrant waterways and stunning skyline. Boarding a river cruise provides a unique perspective of Bangkok's historic temples, modern skyscrapers, and bustling riverside markets. The cruises are well-organized, often including traditional Thai music and dance performances, as well as delicious local cuisine. Whether you choose a daytime or evening cruise, the journey along the Chao Phraya River is a memorable and picturesque experience, perfect for both tourists and locals seeking to explore Bangkok from a different vantage point.

All of the other reviews regarding this place is a scam are totally true. We paid 1k5 each for 2 hr "tour" they called but it was definitely not a tour. More like a transportation form to different locations. The tuk tuk driver was insisted that we should go to this one and the place that we originally planned to go he said it is closed. I could not believe that I fall for this scam to be honest. Just understand that why this scam are still around because they have gangster group back them up. So tried not to mess with them. Highly discouraged people use and believe on whatever the tuk tuk drivers told you.

Absolute Abzocke.

I dont recommend to buy any cruise on this pier. You will definitely get scammed. People pay prices for different tours and end up at the same boat (those who paid a 1 hour and 3 hours tour). Try to ask about some servises at the hotel instead of having stress with this scammers. Maybe if we would not pay for 3 h, we might also enjoy a tour as our boat neighbors who pay just a 1 h tour and and up on a tour for 1 h 40 minutes. Besides that we didnt travel not even close to the place that were showed us on the map and some of them (as we lerned after) dont work in the afyernoon at all. And if you have some other arrangements or not so much time, you shoulds trust it at all - you will not come back to the same pier, the boat captain doesnt come back on time to pick up the people to go to next sightseeing, nobody explains nothing and most likely you will be left on other side on the river in front of a tempel where entrance can be paid just by cash. It was adventurous but not very...

Three tours are advertised. They all do the same route. For 1000 baht you don't stop; for 1200 baht you have 30 minutes at the floating market; for 1500 baht you also stop for 20 minutes at the Big Buddha. Whatever you pay, you will all end up on the same boat! We paid 1000 each and got the 1500 tour. The ride in the boat is quite fun, and it is fascinating to see the backwater canals and a different way of life. There isn't much time anywhere, but the ride is good fun. Getting in and out of the boat is tricky and not suitable for mobility impaired people. We were told that we would return to where we started; in fact, we were deposited at a different pier about 2 km away. I know of people who were left on the other side of the river! So...it is enjoyable, but there...

The River Cruise Pier is the perfect starting point for an unforgettable journey along Bangkok's iconic Chao Phraya River. From here, you can hop onto a river cruise and enjoy stunning views of the city’s landmarks, like the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, and more, all beautifully lit up at night.

The pier is well-organized, and boarding is smooth. The cruises offer a mix of entertainment, buffet dinners, and serene sightseeing, depending on the package you choose. It’s a great way to experience Bangkok’s charm from a unique perspective.

For the best experience, book in advance and choose an evening cruise for a magical view of the city’s skyline. A highly recommended activity for couples, families, or anyone wanting to see Bangkok...
