Wow what a beautiful meal! Hats off to the chef! I can see why it was so highly rated between the other ratings. Such an absolute gem! It's in a massive tourist hotspot (where people will try to sell you things you won't understand) so it's easy to just give a mediocre meal - not this one! The green curry had the perfect kick. The Guaytiew Kua was out of this world good! So so so so nice! They gave us wonderful chopsticks too, which we appreciated! The food was also incredibly well presented and the waiter checked and pointed with everything we ordered, just to be sure! This is welcomed in a place where things can get lost in translation. The watermelon juice was amazingly refreshing and my wife loved the lemon soda to help with her nausea (caused before she arrived and nothing to do with the meal!) While they had WiFi, I didn't try it but I made note of the password. I'd be surprised if it was bad, honestly. The price was slightly higher than what we were used to but even with a 7% tax it was still like 470 THB - not exactly breaking the bank now. There are other places in the area that charge almost double that for something horrific and plastic so I'm happy with playing for this. Finally, this is a lovely place if you wanted to people watch. While there are other restaurants that look almost identical or nicer, there's a reason why this one is so highly rated. This was our last meal in Bangkok otherwise we'd have visited again. Thanks for a...

Is it a nice place? Yes. Is the food good? Depends, the northern section is nice, albeit ridiculously small portions. However, neither will have me come back due to the absolute neglect from the staff. We were calling on the waitor 5-8 times, he clearly heard us but ignored us.

Why? We were two = less percieved income I assume. Finally he came, but only to tell us to change place to a small, uncomfortable table, squeezed in between others, only to give room for other guests that were already there but felt like changing. So if you are one of the lucky few you might be treated as royalty, but if you are unlucky you will be treated as a lowlife nobody that should conform to other guests wants since your satisfaction doesn't seem to be relevant.

Mind you, we planed to eat a full dinner and have a lot of wine and drinks that evening, but seeing we were treated as pieces of garbage there is absolutely no chance I will ever return, neither should anyone else.

I have nothing against the Cambodian staff, but it is a shame the quality of food has gone down a lot as well, and I feel the head chef must have been replaced, if so they should have had a training for the new kitchen staff cause the food is just not on pair with other places anymore, was about to make an exception due to the nice atmosphere, but we changed our minds due to the absolute neglect of us...

Very disappointing. Was directed to a table outside just as a storm was above us and rain coming. Asked to sit inside and taken to a table with an old dirty Band-Aid - wait staff didn’t see the problem and offered another table. Still didn’t dispose of Band-Aid. Waited for ages to place our order, couldn’t get any staffs attention. One curry arrived, no share plates or rice as asked. Another 10 minutes later the second meal arrived which was inedible because of the amount of fish sauce used in the dressing. Again, very hard to get wait staff attention to ask for another menu. Ordered spring rolls and then asked for chilli to be brought as well. The server said he would go and get some but never returned to table. Then asked another server that we were still waiting for some chilli and if she could get some. Either didn’t understand or just chose to ignore us because she too disappeared without returning. By this stage we are the spring rolls, which at best, were just average. The only standout dish from my dinner was the lemongrass ice tea and even that was a minuscule amount because the glass was filled with so much ice. Both my partner and I felt as though a review was warranted in this instance. Very poor service, sub par food. Not sure why they have such a good rating? Won’t be...

We had a fantastic dining experience at Madame Musur Bar & Restaurant in Bangkok! The food was absolutely delicious, with bold flavors and authentic Thai taste. We ordered: Tom Yam with noodles – Rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced between spicy and sour. The noodles made it extra satisfying! Red Curry with rice – Creamy, flavorful, and with just the right level of heat. The jasmine rice complemented it perfectly. Satay as an appetizer – Grilled to perfection and served with a delicious peanut sauce that added a great smoky-sweet touch. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a mix of Lanna and Balinese décor, giving it a warm and relaxed vibe. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Located in Soi Rambuttri, behind Chana Songkhram Temple, it's a great spot for both locals and travelers. If you're looking for authentic Thai food in a charming setting, this place is highly recommended! Would definitely come back again!
