On our recent trip to Bangkok, we found ourselves craving some Indian food đŸ„˜! We were staying on Khao San Road and, while walking around, stumbled upon this Indian restaurant. My family and I decided to give it a try, though I was initially a bit skeptical since the place was empty around 7:30 in the evening. Still, we thought it was worth a shot. The staff greeted us promptly and took our order without delay. We ordered Kadhai Paneer, a salad, and some butter naan and roti. Before the food arrived, we were served condiments, including vinegar onions, imli chutney, raw mango pickle/chutney (the best of the lot), and mint chutney. Within 10-15 minutes, the food was served. The Kadhai Paneer was excellent in both taste and quantity. It was packed with onions and capsicum đŸ«‘, which I loved, and the paneer chunks were soft and generously portioned. The butter naan and roti were equally delicious, with the perfect balance of butter and crispiness. Soon, the manager stopped by to ask for feedback, which was a nice gesture. He mentioned that they also serve authentic masala chai and that their chef is from Delhi, India. By this time, the place was filling up with expats, many of whom seemed to be regulars. Overall, the food was amazing and definitely worth trying if you’re on Khao San Road and craving some Indian cuisine. Next time, I look forward to digging into some butter chicken!

On a long weekend we decided to spend an evening in the Khaosan area. Had a few beers, and the party was on. Indian food, especially the kebabs, was the choice of dinner, and we search threw up few choices. The decision was to check out Indian Kebab and curries. The restaurant was a little bit away from the main area of Khaosan, and it was another factor as it allowed us to explore different streets. The decision was well rewarded. Raj, owner of the restaurant, was running the show. We ordered quite a few dishes to share. Started with Tomato Soup, Papdi Chat, Dahi Kebab, and Paneer Tikka. Followed it with Mutton Boti Kebab, Seekh Kebab, and Chicken 65. We downed this delicious spread with lemon soda and some beers. Food was piping hot and very delicious. Raj is a very interactive person and we had a nice conversation about the restaurant and food. Service was fast and efficient. Decor is simple functional. A future visit is on the cards.

Bangkok Wow! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is absolutely incredible! We ordered fish dishes, chicken tandoori, saffron rice, and the garlic naan. Everything was so fresh and delicious! I ordered a watermelon mocktail as well, which again was delicious. Our server was santhi , and he recommended all the food we got! It was all amazing. This will now be my go to spot for Indian food in Bangkok. Very random, but the statues out front, they have to go! They’re scary in my opinion and do not match the aesthetic. Also, there’s a lot of smoke in the restaurant, so I would cough a little. Read more

Not recommended this place as the service is really bad. I had ordered the food but was cancelled by the delivery app due to heavy rain. I called the restaurant again the day after to reorder and the Indian guy that picked up the phone said last time no pick up so do not order his restaurant again. Clearly this guy that managed this shop do not understand the logic that it was cancelled by the app and also it is HEAVY RAIN. This act of rejecting customer is poorly bad service attitude and no understanding. Not recommended him to operate business in Thailand when he don’t understand how the deliver app and season cycle impact for this. Forever ban and if you want good service mind please find other...
