So I took a chicken curry set. Asked it to be spicy as I like spicy food. My first expression of the dish wasn't good because you pay 250 baht which is pretty high for a food made of chicken, rice and vegetables as you can literally eat the same ingredients at khaosan road for just 80 baht. Yes it won't be an Indian dish and would have other spices but the main content would be the same with 3 times cheaper price. Here for 250 baht what you get is: 2 small pieces of chicken, 1 small piece of fresh tomato. A little bit of fresh onion, some white rice and some spices, a little bit of nuts plus 3pcs flatbread. Doesn't seem much at first. Surprisingly I found that it was really tasty and overall I have eaten enough and wasn't hungry at the end. It was good actually and I would gladly eat that dish again. It wasn't spicy though (just a little bit). I guess they won't make it really spicy unless you especially tell them and clarify that you request the Indian level of spiciness. Because what I got is usually not called spicy in India at all. I can understand that because not many western people are ready to experience real spiciness, so they are doing the safety move. Masala tea was good also. In the end, this is a decent place. I can't say I was amazed by something, I mean service is okay, not the best one I experienced. The interior is okay, it could be more authentic or cozy for sure. Food is actually tasty. I still can't understand the pricing policy because literally across the street at khaosan road dozens of restaurants cook the same chicken&rice like 3 times cheaper (yes without curry, using other spices). If the price was like 100-150 baht I would say this is a 5/5 spot with Indian food, but at the rate of 250 baht per dish I expect it either to be a really authentic experience or the dish itself should be larger and have...

Fifteen minutes later the person came back to take my order, and only then did the kitchen get the order, after hearing them both confirm that it was take out literally like five times. The aloo gobi had half cooked potatoes and I ended up getting some sort of food poisoning the next day, with this being the only thing I...
