Bar.San. — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

The only question you'll be left asking after visiting is: "Is this the absolute best cocktail bar in all Chiang Mai or simply one of the very best?" I'm annoying picky about how my cocktails are built, the ratios, shaken/stirred/"up" or "on the rocks"- Do they use lots of generic ice cubes or does your boulevardier come with a single huge perfectly clear cube of ice? All across the board, they got it right -spirit forward cocktails, stirred, etc- 100% on the ball! The staff is also super fun to talk to and we had a wonderful little chat about how the great French wine blight killed off cognac production and so Sazeracs started to be made mostly with rye instead.... A lil bit tucked away in the area, almost missed the place as they didn't have a big sign or anything. This bar is just exceptional. The vibe, the drink, the service 😘👍. I saw many couples having a lovely dinner, friends hanging out, or if you go alone like me no need to be worry because the staff is so friendly and accomodating or you may make a new friend there.

As a first timer, I went with the staff recommendation and she chose well. I also had some request for my second drink and they delivered well. (Ps: I don't drink alcohol, but they have option for mocktail as well just tell them how you'd like to have). For food, I ordered pasta and it was delicious and coming with good portion too. For the price point, I think it was still reasonable and worth with the quality...

The food for me was not the strong suit (most menus are beef based, so those who don’t eat beef, it would be nice to eat and come, and personally I feel the taste of food is too salty, so really not my best option ((I ordered a salad and a chicken steak))

Regardless, all the cocktails are pretty amazing, the bartenders are really great, the vibe is really good..so ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for cocktails 🙃

So this could be one of my always go to place for cocktails:) the drinks menus are well explained, and the service was nice

The vibe is cozy and bar front seated so it’s suitable for going either alone, as couples or family or with friends:)

Also, the second floor is really nice suitable for secret dates and introverts(as the sign suggests)
