Went to eat there the other evening and didn’t even get through the door was met by strange and intimidating questions from the guy who worked there , He came out with a ‘ yes ‘ I asked if we could have a table for 5 ( there was only 4 people in the restaurant so plenty of space ) he asked if I phone to book the table , I said no , to witch he said well someone just did for a table for 5 are you sure if wasn’t you ? ..... again I said no , he looked at me like I was lying or somthing , then he pointed at my girlfriend and said ‘Chinese?’ We looked at each other confused and he said Chinese don’t eat the food here ( my girlfriend is Thai ) he then asked me if I New anything about his food I said yes I have eaten before, then he rolled his eyes and barked so what you doing coming in or waiting for your friends at that point we just left ...... this may not sound bad but his attitude was terrible it came across as if he didn’t want us eating there and my girlfriend was quite upset with the way she was spoke too especially that fact we...

This lovingly, family operated, Halal Middle Eastern Gulf restaurant (tucked away in a corner of the Anusarn Night Bazaar Market) has exceptionally fresh, fried Snapper (its huge, enough for 2+), coupled with their wonderful biryani, baba ghanoosh, lavash, perhaps some of their exquisite humus, drizzled with sumptuous olive oil…!!!

Their menu is immersive…

Try one of their refreshing Mango-Pineapple Lassi’s! OMG!!!

Basil, the executive chef, is so creatively consistent in the kitchen, while Basiem, who’s your gracious host, take’s care of all of your need’s and wishes, making you truly feel like family.

Not sure what to order? Just ask Basiem!

We’ve been dining here, almost 8 years, and never once have we’ve been disappointed.

They also feature exquisitely prepared Halal Thai food, as well, with absolutely amazing Tom Yum Goong, SomTum, etc…

Everyone is...

Absolutely awesome food! I am a regular for so many years (hence this review). Then.. they have their bird pets and sometimes the birds would come to my table and got the food from my plate. Pity that when it happened the owner did not even offer to replace the meal OR simply apologise. Everyone is free to have their own pets but when it comes to shared space, especially as a restaurant owner, I think there is a need to be very careful about that. It really makes me not wanting to go back to the restaurant anymore. I hope they would be more mindful about their pets...

I am thrilled with my third visit! Last night's grilled fish was a flavor explosion – a delightful twist on Thai seafood soup. While not spicy, the rich spices made it a culinary delight. Any dish here guarantees satisfaction. Easily one of my top 20 go-to spots in Chiang Mai!What makes it even better? Its prime location in the Night Bazaar, surrounded by vibrant shopping, captivating art, and soulful music. The atmosphere complements the culinary experience, making it a perfect spot to indulge in both fantastic food and the local culture.
