Update August 2025: The Khai Soi is not what it usedd to be. Completely different recipe. In the past whenever I returned to CNX I would eat two bowls from here.
It was so off that I couldn't finish it; first time ever in 12 years. My heart sank and my tastebuds rebelled.
Previous Review My all time favorite restaurant in Santitham. This family is dedicated to serving the vegan community with blessed foods of the best quality. Everything is made fresh each day.
No leftovers from the day before are served. Which is very difficult because they sell out daily.
I highly recommend exploring all the dishes served. My top favorite is the Khao Soi. Fresh ingredients bathed in a coconut milk based with pickled cabbage and vegan mushroom based product that will dazzle the tastebuds of most omnivores. The fried noodles are very tasty and the soup has a very nice depth of flavors.
This is one of a few actual Jai restaurants in Chiang Mai that are are practitioners of the Dao faith. They are vegan themselves and also follow the strict parameters of a satvic diet. No onion, garlic, leeks, chives, and scallions.
You can trust that they will deliver the flavors at the best price point in Chiang Mai.

One of favourite local restaurants in chiang mai We have been coming here for over a year and it holds a special place in our hearts, a true local culinary experience. The food is thai cheap, starting from 25 baht with the koa soi at 40 baht, incredible value for the quality of food you eat. Recommendation Go go and go, if your in chiang mai this should be on your bucket list to eat. We fully recommend the koa soi which is really delicious homemade and given with love. #LetsGuide #fsya #localguides...

They offer around six choices of rice and meat, including popular dishes like Clear Soup, Tom Yum Soup, and Khao Soi—all made vegetarian. It has quickly become one of my favorite vegetarian restaurants in Chiang Mai. I was so excited to try it that I forgot to take photos! This time, I ordered the clear soup along with a rice and meat combo, and it was absolutely satisfying. The shop is conveniently located right in front of 7/11 and next to a...
