My Place Lounge Chiang Mai — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

We kept going back!

We were in Chiang Mai for the last two weeks of our 2.5 month stretch in New Zealand and Thailand. After a while, we were really craving some good "Western" food, and Hard Rock cafe just wasn't cutting it.

Thanks to the great reviews, we decided to give My Place a try, and it did not disappoint!

My husband was really craving a late breakfast, so the 24 hour breakfast menu was his selling point. Lol!

He said that the French Toast was the best that he has had in a long time!

I went for the Philly Steak, and it was so good that we opted in to coming baxk for dinner that night to get another one!

Not only was the food amazing and EXACTLY what we were looking for, but the service was by far the best service that we had in all of Thailand.

The girls were extra friendly and attentive, kept our glasses full, and were happy to get extra sides like mayo and ranch (they have ranch dressing!)and other things I asked for with a smile.

One thing that typically bothers me in our many travels is that servers/bartenders outside of the states typically don't have the same level of service as those in the states since the tips aren't as high. But here at "My Place" I felt like I was hanging out at my local bar back in California.

If you are looking for a breath of fresh air, stop by. Get the Philly cheesesteak! There's a good reason why all of the "Westerner" locals...

I was searching for a sports bar in Chiang Mai when someone mentioned this place. I went to the google reviews page and read some reviews and looked at the menu. I wanted to watch the Stanley Cup Championship NHL National Hockey League which by the way is also a Olympic sport. This Sports Bar did not have any mention about the NHL but it looked interesting and the reviews were good. I also saw they had 100thb vodka drinks. Upon arriving at the bar it start to rain very hard. I walked in and asked if they had the NHL games which the girl said NO we do not. I asked her if she knew what the NHL was which she did not have a answer too. I ordered a 100thb vodka drink and she poured 1 shot into a glass with ice. I asked for some mixer but she told me a mixer was 40- 50thb. I paid. While paying I also found out the drink was not 100thb but more so when I told her I saw it on line she told me it was a old menu. I asked to speak to manager or owner but she said that they were not here. I told her I was going to review this bar and gave her a chance to address my concerns but she said I can do what I want This place is also a very strict No smoking bar as I found out being told to stand or sit at the entrance or put it out...
