The worst Papaya salad we have had in the two weeks we’ve been in Thailand. The papaya must have been grated a week ago. It was too salty and soggy. I blame tourists like myself for how a place like this can come into existence. Clearly we should have stuck to fried food, so that the food at least has an appearance of freshness. So far the best food we’ve had in Chiang Mai has been outside of the old city. Cost of living is probably unsustainable within the old city walls. This place has cheap food for a reason. Bc tourists are cheap. I feel bad the restaurant staff. But to anyone who appreciates good Thai food, go somewhere else.

This restaurant is a 3-minute walk from the BED Phrasingh hotel. The lights and colors from outside will catch your eye. It was fully packed with foreigners when we visited. The lady staff was quick and well-mannered. You can get most of the must-try Thai food at affordable prices here. We ordered the Stir-Fried Curry Powder and Tom Yum Goong, both priced at 100 Baht each. Both were a treat to the tastebuds in two different ways. The dragon fruit smoothie was delicious. Don’t forget to carry mosquito repellent with you. This is a must-try, especially for those looking to enjoy authentic Thai food at better prices.

With decent service and a alright atmosphere to eat at, this is with out a doubt a great Thai restaurant to eat at. The food here is cheap ranging around the mean of 40 THB. It also doesn’t get too crowded so you should be able to find a seat. The staffs here are friendly and helpful. Last but mot least, the food here tastes great but the portions are questionable. The food was late even though I ordered first as everyone else in this store got their food but not the first person who ordered it.

This place is very ok, it’s not great and it’s not bad. They have a decent sized menu and I had the chicken Khao Soy. It was ok. I also had mango sticky rice and it was good, but could have used a little more rice the portion was pretty small. I had to add chilis because the dish was not at all spicy and I like to have a little heat. The wait staff was really nice and friendly and helpful. My meal including bottled water was 100 bhat so good value for what you get. I probably won’t go back but if you need a place to eat in a pinch this place...
