Chiang Mai Walking Street Home — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

Positive things:

Location is perfect. Breakfast was good and the lady that made it for us daily was friendly. She made the stay alot better already. I think Nikki was her name. So those are good things

The stay over there was okay for us but we were just very disappointed with the cleaning everyday when we get back at the hotel

So the negatives:

The bodywash was almost empty when we arrived and we didn’t get a new one. After our first night the room didnt get cleaned even though we hung up the sign for it. 1 time our small towels didnt get replaced but they did replace the bigger one. The noise can be bad because the doors to the balcony are not really meant for this.

We drank some cola out of the cups we had in our room. They never cleaned these either. When we arrived in our room later, it was full of ants around those cups so we had to clean it ourselves

The bedsheets didnt get replaced daily like hotels are supposed to do. We had the same bedsheet for 3 days, the bedsheet was full of holes so we were able to see that it didnt get replaced

I feel like the ‘cleaning’lady just rushed the rooms and finished it in a few seconds

I stayed 6 days in Chiang Mai and had a wonderful time at this guesthouse. The host is warm and helpful, sharing great tips for markets, temples and local sights. She even prepared breakfast when I once woke up at 9:45 AM, although it’s served from 8 - 10 AM. Luggage can be stored after check-out.

The location in the old town is perfect: Wat Phra Singh just steps away, Wat Chedi Luang and the Night Bazaar within walking distance, 7/11 around the corner. For getting around, better use songthaews or Grab taxis instead of tuk-tuks. Some street noise from Singharat Road, but overall an excellent place - highly...

I believe this place is overrated. The location is good as you can easily walk to any place in the Old City. The staff is kind and willing to help you. However, the cleaning of the room was very poor. The bed and bathroom were not properly cleaned, and I could even see hair after it was supposedly cleaned. Also, my room is located next to a busy road, which made it difficult for me to sleep due to the noise from passing cars. The breakfast needs to be improvement, and I would prefer if it were...
