Zohgn Coffee in Chiang Mai is an absolute gem located in the charming Old Town area. We loved everything about this place—the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience. The egg and bacon toast and avocado toast were prepared to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into their menu.
The ambiance is what truly sets this place apart. With a jazzy vibe and bossa nova playing softly in the background, it creates a relaxing and elegant atmosphere that made our visit truly special.
My fresh-squeezed orange juice was refreshingly vibrant, and the americano was rich and smooth—a perfect pairing. Every detail, from the quality of the food to the thoughtful decor and music, made us feel compelled to share our experience.
Located in the heart of Old Town, Zohgn Coffee is a must-visit for anyone exploring this historic and vibrant part of Chiang Mai. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, coffee, or simply soaking up the laid-back elegance, this spot is an unforgettable treat. We can’t wait to return! Five stars...
Read moreEntered and took a seat. Waited for waitress, waited some more, then noticed people ordering at the counter. Wished the waitress that handed me a menu had told me to order at the counter. Ordered an english breakfast. Requested no grilled tomato, no mushrooms, no salad and no decoration/herbs. Unlike other places, tea or coffee were not included. Breakfast plate arrived containing salad and the grilled tomato. Food allergies clearly not catered for here. Bacon was american style (smoked and streaky), sausage was english style but small at 2.5 inches. Eggs were scrambled as requested. Toast was sourdough which was nice. The baked beans however were the worst i have seen in Thailand. A ramakin half filled with dry and sauceless beans which appeared to have been recooked several times. Looking like an orange version of mushy peas. No Air Conditioning. Only a single fan in operation, dispite several ceiling fans. Overall a...
Read moreWe visited ZHONG Cafe in Chiang Mai for breakfast, and honestly, it was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had.
From the moment we entered, the staff’s attitude was cold and slightly rude, but we decided to overlook it because we were hungry. It’s not a fancy or elegant place, just a regular cafe with no sense of etiquette or time management.
They informed us there would be a 40-minute wait for breakfast, and we were okay with that. We patiently waited. But even after 50 minutes, nothing was served. When we politely asked about our order, we were told that one dish would take 5 more minutes, and the rest would take another 15 to 20 minutes.
So after waiting nearly an hour, they still weren’t ready. There was no apology, no explanation, just a dismissive attitude.
Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I would never recommend ZHONG Cafe to anyone, especially if you’re expecting decent service or a...
