Wako Bake Chiangmai has 2 branches, one at Sukjai 2 Alley and the other one is located at old town Chiangmai. The branch that I went to is the old town Chiangmai. This branch is quite special because it has an accommodation. I went there for the group of 12 people, and we took breakfast and rest there for one night. The waiters and staffs are very kind and helpful, we arrived before check in time but they are welcome us and take care our luggage, while we was chilling out at Chiangmai Zoo. The food there are tasty, and the coffee are very good. I ate Japanese pork donburi and café latte. I love them so much. The other suggestion menu is Japanese curry and ham bacon special sandwich, they really love them. For the accommodation, it’s quite like small apartment with two 4 people bedroom, two 2 people bedroom, 4 toilet/bathroom, one living room with TV and balcony space for enjoying winter at night. The place here is very clean and the price is not too expensive. They also provided refrigerator, bowl and some basic support facilities. This place is really suite for friends gang to hang out together, moreover, Wako bake and the accommodation are located near Wualai walking night street, market, seven-eleven and Pratue Tha Phae, which are landmark...
Read moreEven though there were no customers beside us, the order took quite a while. I guess they needed to wait until the oil is properly reheated, which is good of course. The Tonkatsu Onsen Sandwich is quite difficult to eat and I would just get the one without egg next time, which is also a lot cheaper. I did not enjoy the potato curry inside so much, would preferred the more common Tonkatsu sauce. But my biggest complaint is that the meat covers just half of the sandwich. The bread itself is delicious though. We also ordered a Tonkatsu Curry, which was also very good. You could really taste that it is homemade. The rice was also excellent. They only have a barcode in the shop to access the menu, but reception was very bad. I would suggest that they have at least one printed copy...

Great cafe, with yummy food and coffee. I had an iced americano and saw many people mostly foreigners relishing a range of food items on their menu.
Very neat and clean, clean washroom, air conditioned as well as outer open air sitting area, nice low volume music, well lit by natural light as well as has its own lighting too.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you Wako Cafe where I went first in 2023 :) good signs I suppose
