Ya & Da's Halal is in a prime location next to the Mosque, making it a convenient spot for a satisfying meal. The owner is incredibly kind, and after several visits, we feel like part of the family. The food here is consistently delicious, and the prices are very affordable. I usually go for the breakfast set 2, which includes potato curry, coffee (or tea) hot or iced, roti, and samosas. Recently returned to Chiang Mai after a two year hiatus to discover, in the midst of COVID-induced widespread business closures here, the seriously underrated Ya & Da's place alive and well! Still run by the same really nice folks, moreish eats (Halal - dine-in and takeaway), and even the super low prices unchanged! All delivered in a cosy space immersed in ye old Northern Thai memorabilia - in more than 3 decades of visiting/living in Chiang Mai, Ya & Da Corner's still one of my most fave spots in the city...

Absolutely fantastic halal restaurant serving a large variety of traditional Thai and Muslim dishes and a staggering amount of roti. I ordered the goat curry, potato curry, samosa and rice.
