It was good! The place is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. We chose this restaurant because of the positive reviews about catering to vegans. I ordered a vegan pad thai and som tum and had no issues explaining my diet. The pad thai was a big portion, I really liked the texture and that I got a lot of mung bean sprouts. I had to ask for additional chili because it wasn’t spicy at all. I wish the pad thai was more fragrant, more sour, more salty/umami. I added lime and could’ve asked for more. I also added soy sauce which was on the table. As for the papaya salad, I asked for little-medium spicy and it was extremely hot! So be careful:) it was unfortunately not tasty to us - except for a raw garlic taste and some chili, it was flavorless. It really could have used a lot of acid (lime) and maybe soy sauce instead of the fish sauce. The peach iced tea was really good, and the squid pad see ew was also tasty. Overall, we would be back but skip the som tum and maybe ask for more lime/soy sauce. The servers were very attentive and responsive to...
Read moreMy husband and I come here many times to eat on our yearly trip and have never had a bad meal or service. The food is delicious, authentic and cooked fresh piping hot, made we love. The service is run by a family and they are incredibly friendly, helpful and have very good English which can be hard to find in small restraunts in kata at times. Not to mention the venue itself is incredibly cute, nice and cool and has a very relaxed atmosphere. We usually have the pork and Thai basil 10 out of 10 though if you are a big eater make it two serves and the chicken fried rice which is fluffy and not oily which is exactly what you want!! The omelette is light and delicious. We usually get the frozen smoothies and YES it is safe here we have never had any food poisoning from the ice, overalls very clean, safe and beautiful food. Thank you...
Read moreI had the khao soi with pork at Eightfold, and it was delicious! The Thai coconut curry noodle soup had a great balance of flavor with a hint of spice—enough to add warmth but not overwhelming. The curry had a rich depth, and the mix of textures, from the soft noodles to the crunchy ones on top and the crispy pork, made each bite interesting. If you like it spicier, they provide extra hot spice on the side.
The menu offers a wide range of options, from authentic Thai dishes to Western choices, which is great for a diverse group. The ambiance is cute and cozy, adding to the experience with its charming decor. The service was warm, friendly, and very attentive, and our food arrived quickly. A wonderful spot for anyone looking to enjoy flavorful Thai food with excellent service in a...
