Palm Square is pretty much the best place to go if you're into live music, a mix of all kinds of food from all over the world, and a great clean atmosphere.

Don't be discouraged because they do a selection of foods and assume the Thai isn't authentic. The Thai food provided at Palm square is fantastic, if you want more spicy foods or want it toned down don't be afraid to ask - they'll cater what you want. If you're also a customer of their sister hotel Sugar Palm Grand, you'll also receive a free chauffer ride from the hotel, get dropped off at Palm Square, and receive an additional 20% off on foods purchased!!

Once you finish off with your delicious meals, move a lil closer to the bar with live music. The performers were amazing. They sing very fluent English, and can even throw in a mix of Russian which to my surprise sounded pleasant. If you ask nicely enough, I was lucky to be invited to also join them up on stage and sing infront of the whole crowd of strangers - this was such a fantastic highlight of my holiday I ended up going the day after for more food, drinks, and singing!! Make sure to tip them, they definitely deserve it.

You can come to palm square not only for food but during they day they also run a cafe, spa and massage parlour, and other small businesses that contributes to the brand name. You'll definitely see me coming back over and over each time I come back to kata...

I was interested in entering this place as I could hear the live music from far away. I ordered the shrimp taco or something similar to that, and I must say it was really tasty, but the very next day, I was really sick and got food poisoning…..

The second time we went there, which was really late and it was one of our only food options because we were hungry, we all got Thai food, simple stuff such as fried rice basil pork with rice etc, and we waited really long for our food, more than 45 mins, and I was really angry, by the time I got my food I didn’t even feel like eating anymore 😔

I am really disappointed in this place, and even when i went back the second time, I was met with such disappointments… I really am disappointed…

Only thing that is good about this place is the variety in food and live music. The quality of food, drinks and service are absolutely not worth the hassle...

Would not recommend. Poor service from people who dont communicate well. My partner ordered a coffee and brownie and was asked if she could pay with credit card. The cashier held up 3 fingers and indicated the Thai standard of adding 3% to credit card transaction. As she waited, i decided to order a juice on the same tab. The total amount was 190 bhat and after receiving our food, i went to the cashier to pay. She then informed us that she said 300 bhat minimum to pay and we couldnt pay with credit card for stated amount. After some back and forth, i gave in and paid with cash. Super annoying experience being lied too. The on sight manager was not helpful and acted part of the scheme. Since it was already nearly midnight, they likely pocketed the cash directly to their pockets rather then have the transaction record on their log. Bunch...
