WATERWORKS COFFEE — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

I ordered the Vietnamese coffee. It tasted great. I asked the manager if she knew of any good Thai restaurants nearby. She told me I had to try the street food stalls, which I reluctantly agreed. She then walked me outside (shop unattended) two blocks to her favorite street stalls, where I bought basil pork and catfish curry. She even asked if I was allergic to anything. Because there were no seats outside she offered to let me eat in her shop. I offerred to buy her lunch as my lunch only cost me USD 1.50. She agreed, and we walked back to her shop. She then poured me a glass of water and cut some of her fresh mangosteen fruit free of charge for dessert. This is a must visit shop with an angel behind the counter.

This place is legitimately great!

Some places have suspiciously high ratings on Google maps and you’re like “huh, they must be giving away free stuff for a review or use Indian bot farms”. This one is not that case.

Great drinks and food. Amazing attention to details: drinks come well decorated and tasting beyond expectations.

Food menu might not be big but the taste is great! Cheesy top of lasagna definitely took its place in my heart.

There is a spacious room on the second floor where you can enjoy your drinks with food in quiet air conditioned atmosphere.

I love their coffee, especially caramel Macchiato. It’s their special combination of coffee, milk, and caramel syrup that makes it different to other coffee shops’s. The price is very reasonable considering the quality. Their staff are helpful and friendly, not fluent in English but communicable, good enough for a coffee shop.

My other friend loves their “Dirty coffee” and Avocado coffee. Thought the avocado coffee was weird combo but turns out good.
