not only is the food delicious but the service is amazing too! tbh it’s a little hard to order if you have questions if you don’t speak thai (even with google translate), but it’s worth it! it’s always the same auntie cooking and she has magic hands.

there is also a female server who was so kind! she seemed mid 20s and definitely a girls girl 💗 overall in three weeks i’ve come here 7 times. to me the sausage is amazing which is in their rice plate. also the pad thai OF COURSE! also it’s cheap and truly they should be charging more (to foreigners at least) cuz it’s worth 300฿ so delicious (but it’s only 50-70฿ depending which protein you...

Great value, good taste! The food is good if more towards the gently flavoured side of things which suits my taste. Ordered kuat gai, pad Thai and an alacarte order of the roast pork from the stall right outside. If you arrive early 11am+ , the pork is just freshly cooked and soooo crispy the skin. Dessert of bua loy didn’t suit me but my hubby liked it! It’s like tong Yuen in a salty sweet coconut broth! Am from Malaysia so this is reminiscent of a good hawker stall 🤗 travel here by Grab unless you are adept at using...

This is basically street food with tables and chairs in an open front shop. There’s no air-conditioning.

Pad Thai with shrimp had a definite taste of tamarind and lime. Slightly spicy. Very good. Serving size was not very large and there were only two shrimp in the entire. Still plenty of food.

Bua Loy with egg was a strange combination of textures to a westerner. Sweet and very much tasting of coconut with small balls of rice dumpling. Delicious if you can get past the slightly slimy texture.

Just...

This is the kind of restaurant that used to come to my mind when I thought of Bangkok. Small, hole in the wall, run by an auntie who also cooks all of the food. Pictures of a yesteryear on the walls. Pad Thai is very good, not the best, but different from others in a good way. The auntie cooked it right in front us. Fair prices, but the shrimp Pad Thai has only 2 shrimps. So I would get the chicken option instead if I were you. Would come back.

I had the chicken pad thai and a tapioca dessert. Costs 100 Baht. Very tasty pad thai. The noodle was firm. Served with generous helping of bean sprout and herbs. The fried dried shrimp adds a special bite and taste. The tapioca was a bit too sweet.
