Yoichi Nikka — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Subdistrict

If you like whiskey, or even normal cocktails, this is the place. Tasteful jazz playing in the background on an amazing sound system and just a beautiful bar make this place incredible for dates, business meetings, or even solo drinking. I had a great whiskey tasting (incl a 17 and 21 year old), and a number of other cocktails, including a martini, XYZ and white lady. The cocktails weren't perfect (it IS a whiskey bar), but they were good, and for 300THB, reasonably priced. The whiskey is considerably more expensive than that, but still reasonable given the availability of Japanese whiskey these days.

I really loved my time at this bar, though I do have to say, the more experienced Japanese bartender spends most of his time with Japanese clients, and the less experienced Thai bartenders handle the foreigners (i.e. me). I understand but wish it was a little more balanced.

Attached is a picture of the old fashion the bartender served me. I do not like to complain but this was very disappointing.

2x cocktails at 350 baht = 1320.59 after service charge, vat, credit card, and chair fee.

I do not mind the high price but please serve me...

Had a great experience! Tried the Taketsuru tasting set(non aged, 17, and 21), which you probably won't find anywhere since these are discontinued bottles. Friendly staff and service was great. There is a seating fee of 200 baht and that includes a small snack. Try the oysters, pairs well...
