I thought I had found a nice and clean bistro, but it turns out I was wrong. The establishment itself is small, but the atmosphere is very good, the food: freshly baked pizza, fries, one fresh and hot, the other stale, not the first freshness this week or 10 days, I almost broke a tooth. But, oh well... The first two days were well received and friendly; On the third day before leaving, I decided to relax there again and leave money in such a good atmosphere. Oops, I was wrong. An adult guard suddenly stopped at the entrance and said: “You can’t come here anymore.” To which I was very surprised and asked him: What could I do? After all, I don’t drink until I drop or be rude to anyone. To which he replied that he could not say that. I once again asked him to answer me in detail and clearly explain his problem. To which he replied: One of the guests is a European man who does not want you to visit this place anymore. I asked him again: What wrong did I do to this man? He replied: He is a guest, he just doesn’t want you to come here…. It turns out that he is a guest, and I come there at the expense of the bar?? What does this even mean, he DOESN’T WANT!!?? Who is he and for what steps of mine is he responsible!?? Change the system or security (they are controlled by any council) I, like him, spent my money personally and did not communicate with anyone there, except for refusing to communicate with men I did not know. There are a million establishments on this street and there is always that same bar - where you can relax without negativity, as in the situation with this bistro. I hope the manager will ensure the loyalty of the security staff and respect his visitors. You shouldn't stoop so low for...
Read moreMonday night covid 19 no tourists. oskar is almost empty. but we cannot seat where we want because they keep in case they have big party coming...I guess they feel it is better to make unhappy the few clients they have and therefore may not come back....Here is below what i used to think about this restaurant and bar. Except when i went last night the experience was very different. The restaurant upstairs was full and the service was a mess. We waited 20 mn for our bottle of white wine. And when it arrived the food was already served and cold. The water never arrived though, but was charged.... the caesar salad used to be excellent here. Last night it was soaked in a disgusting caesar sauce....the lamb skewers used to be excellent, yesterday they were not cooked enough and very hard to chew. I guess success implies cutting corners...the staff used to be nice now they are just busy asking if you have reservation when it is obvious there still has some places availble...But I will not be back there for diner and will not recommend it anymore to my friends passing by in Bangkok. There are too many choices in Bangkok to lose time in places where success goes to their head...Excellent restaurant/bar/night club. Excellent food except the quality dropped in the past 2...
Read moreI really love the steak here but after what happened to me and a couple of tour customer's last night, 25/05/25, with the ladyboy harassing all your male customers, I will not be back here and security at the door even saw everything that was going on and did absolutely NOTHING! Even after i stood up and yelled at it. What's the doorman's job anyway? He acts like he's security but provides ZERO security to the establishment. As I was leaving, a FEMALE told the ladyboy to leave after a male coworker cut her off. Never again!
Stop letting the its in. They're harassing your customers and are not buying anything or it is spending very little so it really isn't a loss if you ban ladyboys anyway or if you're too scared to do, that set a 2000 baht minimum spending limit like they do in places for tourists but you wouldn't do that to you own huh? Just to foreigners and i guarantee you if I would have hit the it, i would be the one to get in trouble even though it was provoking me and pulling me to it. Forget this place. Never again. I can find another place to...
