Have been dining here for a few times, so far, I enjoyed the food.

Had a Tom Yum Gung here for dinner. The soup wasn't spicy at all, but the smell and taste were great with plenty of mushroom and lemon grass.

There weren't as many people in the restaurant, so I get to enjoy the quietness as I was dining alone.

However, I do want to complain about certain staff's attitude towards their customers. I had a pretty unpleasant experience in this restaurant due to the strong sense of differential treatment between me and other customers... Especially the fat man who works in night shift... He seemed to be the person in charge, and anyway, he was the worst. There weren't simple greetings from this guy, no "Hi", "welcome", "thank you", or "bye"... He only stared at me as I walked in and signed my bill. I wouldn't be mad if he was like this to every customer... Is it just because I'm not a white person???

I truly believe that the hotel shall not tolerate such behaviour!!! This time I'm giving one star because of that rude fat staff.

Where's the Thai hospitality??? Was I not...

We stopped by Food Exchange Café in Novotel Sukhumvit 4 just to collect our welcome drinks, and while we didn’t dine in, the experience was a mixed bag.

First impressions: The café has a bright, modern vibe with a semi-open kitchen and stylish seating—definitely a nice environment for a hotel café. However, despite a few staff members noticing us as we walked in, no one approached or greeted us for a solid few minutes. A bit surprising for a hotel-affiliated spot, where service is usually more attentive.

Once we got our drinks—a coconut and an iced coffee, they were refreshing and well-made. No complaints there!

Verdict: 3/5 ✔️ Nice ambiance – clean, contemporary, and inviting ✔️ Good drinks – the coconut and iced coffee hit the spot ❌ Service was lacking – odd for a Novotel venue, especially when it wasn’t packed

Would we return? Maybe for the drinks, but hopefully with better service next time. If you’re passing through, it’s a decent pit stop, but don’t expect a...

One of the best international buffets in BKK! The entree changes daily, the day I went was Australian wagyu beef that the chef personally seared. Wide selection of international food, including sushi, seafood, salads, salami & cheese, thai food, and indian food. There is a coffee machine, fresh juices, and sodas available. The pancake bar is awesome with fresh buttermilk pancakes. The chocolate cake is to die for! 5 layers of chocolatey goodness. The price is only 490 baht on Eatigo or HungryHub. The service staff are super nice, friendly, and service oriented. You gotta eat here...
