Full disclosure, I am Farang, but have lived with my Thai wife and son in Bangkok for over 2 years and we’ve made it a quest to discover the best buffets in the city. We’ve been impressed with so many of the Atrium’s competitors that the bar has become quite high. However... Even walking into the tastefully appointed Atrium at the Landmark Hotel we were not expecting anything more than what we’ve seen at many other places. However… It’s not the ambience (which is laid-back jazz/Art-Deco), but the people which differentiate this place. A multilingual host, insisting they escort us to our (buffet!) table, an extremely accommodating FOH supervisor (Joe), and a staff reminiscent of those serving a meal at Versailles (no hyperbole) made for an inviting atmosphere. We were originally seated at a window overlooking the tourist area. However, as it’s April in Bangkok, the heat was still not conducive for a chill (and, admittedly self-indulgent) buffet. The staff, directed by Joe, promptly split an 8-top into a double 2, in an area that was the epicenter of their (very little residual smell) open kitchen area and sat us as if this was their fault. So, fantastic service was the first thing we encountered here. We came for the seafood and my wife (in all modesty, a world-class cook) was blown away by the size of the river prawns, the skill of the cooks grilling (perfectly preserving the fatty part of the head), and the range of the seafood available. They’ve proven able to sate Thai-specific, Eastern, and Western tastes. So, since we judge buffets by their variety, quality, economy, and service, Atrium, at the Landmark Hotel in Bangkok is a fantastic value and worth a visit. I don’t give out stars, but they get 5...

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at The Landmark hotel in Bangkok, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked into the dining area, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by the tasteful decor and soft background music.
The breakfast spread was truly impressive, catering to a wide variety of tastes and dietary preferences. From freshly baked pastries and artisan bread to a selection of seasonal fruits and yogurts, everything was impeccably presented. The hot food station offered perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, fluffy pancakes, and more. For those seeking healthier options, there was an excellent range of cereals, nuts, seeds, and plant-based milk.
What stood out the most was the attention to detail. The ingredients were clearly of high quality, and the flavors were delightful. The freshly squeezed juices and rich, aromatic coffee were the perfect complements to the meal. The staff were attentive and ensured that every guest felt taken care of, regularly checking in to replenish items and accommodate special requests.
The ambiance was serene, making it an ideal setting to start the day. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or simply looking for an outstanding breakfast experience, the Landmark hotel delivers in every aspect. I cannot recommend it enough!
The attentive service provided by Vee, Noeythi, Moonoii truly elevated the experience, as they were both friendly and professional, ensuring every need was met with a smile.
5/5 stars – I look forward...
Read moreSince this place just reopened, I decided to give it a try. As I walked in, a welcome greeting from Khun Mai. I noticed that the overall décor has been completely renovated—it’s now modern with a classic touch, much more pleasant than before. The layout is well designed, and the ambiance feels inviting.
The service was also impressive. The staff were polite and attentive, especially Mr. Joe, who came over to introduce himself warmly offering his service . Despite the fact that I wasn’t dressed up for the occasion, his kind welcome made me feel very comfortable dining alone. Also Mr. Moo introduces himself later asking if I want anything. I think the staffs here are well trained and good service minded.
As for the food, one of the main reasons I wanted to try this buffet was the river prawns. They’re all-you-can-eat and some were as big as my palm! What really stood out was that they were freshly grilled to order, which made it feel more like an à la carte experience. Another highlight was the Wagyu beef, also grilled upon request—tender and flavorful. Also, must try the truffle soup too. You can also get free flow of water plus soft drink/ Thai tea/ or coffee or tea choose one. 😍 Must also try the dessert full varieties of Thai desserts. The durian moose is also a must.
However, I do have a couple of small suggestions. They offer Caesar dressing, but strangely, no crisp cross lettuce to go with it—why? Also, the sushi rice was overly sticky, more like glutinous rice, which made it a bit unpleasant and don’t want to eat.
Definitely will come back to try...
