Although I wouldn’t necessarily count myself as a fan of the Lancaster Hotel, I must admit that it houses an unexpected treasure. Nestled within its less impressive surroundings, the Viva Jiva Spa emerges like a hidden gem, offering a tranquil respite from the bustling Bangkok cityscape.
From the moment I stepped into this oasis of calm, I was treated to exceptional service. The serene atmosphere was as comforting as it was inviting, a stark contrast to the busyness outside. The spa rooms, each with their own shower and bathroom, are thoughtfully designed to prioritize your privacy and convenience.
My therapist, Khun Mayom, was a testament to the level of professionalism and skill at Viva Jiva. She consulted me on every detail—pressure, focus areas, and even the lighting—to ensure my experience was tailored to my liking. The gentle dimming of lights, the flicker of a candle, and an aromatherapy massage later, I found myself immersed in a profound relaxation I hadn’t thought possible.
The experience was beautifully rounded off with refreshing water, a hot cup of lemongrass tea, and traditional Thai cookies, a delightfully sweet finish to an overall extraordinary experience.
While the Viva Jiva Spa may come with a heftier price tag than the typical street shops, it’s an investment in high-quality treatment, unforgettable service, and true relaxation. Even within the unassuming Lancaster Hotel, the spa stands out as a shining beacon of tranquility and rejuvenation. A true hidden gem, the Viva Jiva Spa is not just a spa experience—it’s an indulgence that...
