The Steak House koh Lipe — Restaurant in Ko Lipe

Disepointed, I paid 3000 baht for 2 apetizer, 2 sirloin and 4 beer. Thats a lot but i was hoping for hight quality cuisine...

Let's start with the positif: -very good and creative apetizer -good service -very nice place and even more at night the vegetables in main dish where perfectly cooked

Now the negativ: me and m'y girl freind dont have the main dish at the same (as a european chef that is unthinkable even more when its just 2 sirloin) m'y girl freind "medium rare" steak is on photo -the french fries where not homade, cardbord texture and cold

BUT MOSTLY !!!the steak is tenderized with chemicals probably in Factory. I am 100% sure ( i use to work as butcher and now I am chef) To be honest that was the worst sirloin of m'y life, no taste and an awful fake texture That is a shame and even more when you are called steak house !!! I am very disepointed because i payed a LOT for the lowest quality of beef possible.

Even After that the place is very nice and i assume other dish are good, if you go there please respect yourself and the cuisine do not take...

Me and my dad went here for dinner. we have both never written a review on here before but had to make an account purely for this one. hands down the worst dining experience we’ve both ever had. Got our order wrong, would not serve us, 6+ staff walking around laughing and ignoring us, they came over to us and we let them know the order was wrong, one plate came out, then the other came out 25 mins later. once they spoke to us, it was too late as we had eaten the incorrect steak, so we said don’t worry about it (trying to get bill and leave). asked for the bill, was forgotten, asked again, again again and finally got it. as we’re paying the bill another dish came to our table after we repeatedly said don’t worry about correcting it now as we had already eaten the meal. Super expensive for horrible steak, cold vegetables and lumpy mash. do not go here, save your money and go to smaller local places. Note- we also went to the place next door the night before which seems to be under same management and had a terrible...

A steak can be the making or breaking of a restaurant but when “steak” is in its name you would think that they would at least get steak right. I asked for a medium tenderloin. It came rare! I pointed it out to the waiter who took it back to the kitchen. It came back hardly any different. I am not a huge meat eater but I do occasionally enjoy a medium steak. I was so disappointed!! I googled a picture of steak demonstrating rare to well done and all in between to show them. The waiter called over another person who had excellent English and before I could say anything or show her the picture she said “ it’s rare “ and this was after being sent back already. She asked me if I wanted it cooked more but by now my husband had finished his meal and I did not want to eat alone. I passed the steak to my husband and he ate it as by now they had said they would deduct 10% . My husband said 10% is not enough for her meal it’s been a disaster but by now we were really fed up and too...
