Choop Coffee Break — Restaurant in Krabi Province

I took hot coffee latte. They told me was 1 shot, and cold 2. The price of hot was 95 baht and from cold 105. So I told them that I wanted hot but 2 shot like the cold one. They didn’t told me was extra charge, I thought was with 2 shots the same price than ice. They charged me 20 more.

But the thing is that when I was going to pay, I paid with 500 baht and they give me 100 baht less on return. The man when he seen I was reviewing the money and complain about the change, with a sigh and without looking the money he give me 100 more. Was clear he already knew he give me bad exchange, but he tried to scam me. So be careful and count your change if you come here.

We went to this cafe twice during our stay in Railay beach. However, we noticed on our second visit once going inside that the place was not as clean as it should be and basic hygiene was lacking. There was food on the floor inside at the corner table and there was something peculiar looking in one of our waffles (which were delicious) but finding this little brown pellet made me feel a bit uneasy. The staff are so nice and we are aware it is not as busy as usual on Railay but the lack of hygiene/clean floors/ clean spaces for food prep could harm someone in the future. Delicious homemade ice cream with greys flavours. We came back twice. The shop is small and has AC so if you get indoor seating it could be a nice place to rest and cool off while you eat. We were on the go just our stuff to go. One day we got two scoops of ice cream and you can choose different flavours for each scoop so we got banana cookie and coconut. The other day I got an Oreo shake where they use coconut as the base. Both were so delicious.
