Friendship Restaurant — Restaurant in Krabi Province

An authentic Thai experience. I ate here almost exclusively both times I've visited Railay, in 2016 and in 2022. Food is absolutely delicious, the view is wonderful. This is a family run restaurant and all the family members are all really funny whilst being friendly and hospitable. It's lovely to see them working together. Enjoy and take in the local culture. The smoothies, thai dishes and soups are all delicious.

I've gone through most of the veggie and chicken based dishes on the menu. In particular, the massaman curry, pad thai and tom yam soup are things I've ordered multiple times.

It's on the eastern side of the island, and you can catch a lovely quiet and peaceful pocket in the afternoon/early evening for a smoothie and meal. They will do takeaway if you want a quiet night in.

They have free WiFi, just ask!

It's not as polished as the 5 star resorts on the other side of the peninsula. Does it need a bit of renovation? Yes. Does that add to the charm? Absolutely 😂

Normalerweise poste ich nie was, aber hier muss es sein. Wir sind entspannt am Wasser entlang geschlendert und haben uns spontan ins Restaurant gesetzt. Großer Fehler! Des Fehlers noch nicht bewusst, habe ich Khao Pad Krapao mit Hühnchen bestellt. Das erste Indiz, dass dieses Restaurant ein Fehler war, war, als mein Essen kam. Mir nichts, dir nichts wurde mir eine Schande aufgetischt. Es ähnelte mehr gebratenem Reis und von dem Hühnchen war keine Spur. Für das Basilikum mussten archäologische Ausgrabungen durchgeführt werden. Das zweite Indiz war das curry meines Mitleidenden. Konnte man es curry nennen? Es war eher eine Beleidigung an die thailändische Küche. Das curry war wässriger als das Meereswasser nebenan. Geschockt analysierten wir die Rezessionen. Ein weiterer Fehler! Ungelogen jede zweite Rezession beschrieb eine Lebensmittelvergiftung oder Durchfall. Das Bezahlen hat immensen Seelenschmerz ausgelöst und der Gedanke, dass dieses Geld solches Essen weiterfinanziert, wird mich nachts nicht ruhen lassen. Das, oder die eventuelle Lebensmittelvergiftung Man muss aber anmerken, dass der Service und das Ambiente super waren. Nur der Hauptakteur war halt enttäuschend. Jetzt liegen wir im Hotelzimmer und hoffen auf eine möglichst...

DO NOT EAT HERE! We have sickness and diaree...the place looks good from outside, and if you walk there you will see many turist to eat sitting on the ground, but i think half of them, who eat there will get food poisoning. We ordered a guava and a mango shake, with pad thai foods...maybe the shakes contains tap water...or the fruits was cleaned in tap water...i dont know, but I don't recommend to choose...
