I had an exceptional dining experience at Juksunchae by Chef Henry! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.
Firstly, the restaurant's atmosphere is beautiful and inviting - the perfect setting for a fancy dinner. The decor is modern and sleek, and the lighting is warm and cozy.
But what really sets Juksunchae apart is the food and Chef Henry's innovative approach to Korean fine dining. Truly impressive. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and expertly prepared, and the flavor combinations were unique and exciting.
Some standout dishes for me included the bibimbap with uni, which was rich and savory. The foie gras with various flavors was also my favorite. The dessert was also a highlight - it was the perfect end to the meal.
To top it all off, the service was top-notch. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and Chef Henry himself even came out to greet us and ensure that we were enjoying our meal.
Overall, I highly recommend Juksunchae by Chef Henry to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves innovative Korean food or just appreciates fine dining in general. Five...
Read moreSad to say I’m disappointed since we were so hyped going to this place. We started the course by ordering Sake, the first 3 sakes from the menu were not available. We ended up drinking a random bottle the waitress offered us.
Most of the dishes were so so, or I would rather say confusing. The only dish that has the quality we were expecting from was the Prawn. It was really good and since the Prawn was the first dish for the main course, we were excited that all the main courses might be good as well, then it’s back to the so so quality just like all the appetizers.
Also we were eating with another big group of customers, the lady who were the one doing the story telling ended up yelling and we missed most of the part she explained about the food.
We were very excited to finally dine at the famous Korean fine dining place in Bangkok, but the Kimchi with vegetables and the cold noodles really disappointed us.
At the end of the course we were asked if we’re happy with the meal, so we said what we thought and the waitress said because the head chef wasn’t there on that day. It was a pity we went on the day without the head chef without...
Read moreWorking as a Chef for over 40 years that was my first experience with a Korean fine dining restaurant (with some modern Western cooking techniques). Quality of ingredients was superb. Loved the dry aged African pompano fish out of the Andaman Sea and the organic locally grown duck. The lotus root and seed dish was lovely and the egg custard with the French caviar had so many different flavour levels.
All dishes were perfectly balanced (except, perhaps the cold noodles which could have had a bit more seasoning).
Desserts were really delicious with combinations of products that usually you wouldn’t associate with desserts.
Service was superb and Chef Henry did explain every dish very carefully and you can see that he’s very passionate about his food.
Exterior is very minimalistic and fits very well with the gorgeous food presentations. We had a great view to the chefs preparing all the food.
Couple points for improvements; get a good steak knife for the duck and the pork and we sat right below the ac unit which was a bit too noisy.
Overall experience- superb and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone to try.
