Kay's Embassy — Restaurant in Lumphini Subdistrict

Ok, this place was good, it wasn’t Very good, but it was good. Some of the pics in the gallery here don’t depict the actual place itself in a true light - for example, the flower wall didn’t exist while we were there. That said, the food was nice and was moderately priced. I had Egg Benedict. The egg itself was cold, but everything else on the plate was delicious especially the fries. Service was good and staff were friendly. In my humble opinion, the word “Cafe” needs to be observed more in the observation of the intended visitor. We didn't order anything because all three of the baristas were busy playing games on their iphones instead of taking our order. We stood at the counter and waited a fair amount of time before one of them decided to put the game away. She was just about to walk towards the counter, when she had to pick up the game to change her in-game armor. We waited another 30 seconds. When she finally got up to the counter, she didn't greet us. She just started logging in to their cashier system/ipad (I'm guessing it was turned off because none of them had been working for a while). We decided it was too farcical and left instead of spending any money here....

The staff are not accommodating at all. We asked to swap the ham with salmon in our order and they completely refused in a very rude manner. Then I asked to replace it with mushrooms, after consulting with all the staff in the kitchen, they finally agreed. But my order came without the mushroom!! Service is bad, the food was served cold,.. very overrated. I suggest you accommodate your menu according to your customers, most of the customers who were there were Muslims, and unfortunately most of the food items on the menu contain ham and pork.
