During my 3-nights stay at Grand Hyatt Erawan, I got the opportunity to try out this little restaurant hidden away under the lobby of the hotel.
I was pleasantly surprised by just how delicious everything was, and regret not trying them out on the first night. I'd waited until the last day to try them.
Upon sitting down, the lovely scent of pandan filled my nose. I had to offer the pandan drinks as a result. They didn't really taste like much but were incredibly aromatic. I was also offered prawn (?) crackers with my drinks.
The omelette with crab practically had a whole crab's worth of meat in it, and all the other dishes I'd ordered were cooked to perfection.

In the basement of the Grand Hyatt is a dimly lit (wished it was a tad brighter!) restaurant that serves up good local dishes. My favourites include the boat house noodles and the Tom yum noodles. Served piping hot, with a serving of fried wanton skin. Their egg omelette, spring rolls, duck noodles, Thai basil minced pork rice and grilled pork jowl are also very good. Only nice cuts of tender chicken breast (no bones, skin, or fat). The curry is thick and flavorful. The condiments to mix-in are top quality, and that chili oil is the perfect spiciness to wake up the dish like back in Chiang Mai.
