Overall, the food was good value, but there are many areas for improvement in the service. I’m surprised they haven’t ironed out the processes, given the original branch has been around for over five years.
There is a huge variety of food covering Western, Thai, and Japanese cuisines. The seafood was fresh, the pasta was delicious and flavorful, and the sea bass was nicely pan-fried with a crispy top. However, the roasted meat was disappointingly dry. The sauces accompanying the meat and seafood dishes were particularly memorable. The truffle soup with croissant was as great as everyone says. I wish all of the food had been served hot, especially the à la carte dishes that came straight from the kitchen. After trying almost every dessert item, the brioche banana with almond mousse was a winner. The bread was fried to perfection, served hot, and the mousse was not unbearably sweet like most Thai desserts. The food was not 100% fine-dining level but for this price, it was value for money.
We ate continuously for 1.5 hours and spent another 30 minutes collecting non-à la carte dishes and ordering à la carte dishes from the station, and we still couldn’t get through the whole menu. My guess is you would need to visit at least 2 to 3 times to cover the entire menu. This excludes items from the premium menus (extra cost) like lobster, Korean crab, foie gras steak, etc.
For the à la carte menu, we maximized our eating time by studying the menu prior to entering, so that once we got there, we could quickly order the numbered items through the staff at the stations. Unfortunately, others were not as prepared, and we had to wait for people in front of us to decide from the massive menu.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Good points about the service: Staff diligently collected empty dishes from our table, freeing up space for more food. À la carte orders came in a timely manner. Entering the venue was done in an orderly manner via the ticket system.
👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Areas for improvement in the service: Place a QR code for the à la carte menu at each table, not next to the staff taking orders at the front of the queue where people are already looking at the photo menu. There needs to be a self-serve station for serviettes (preferably cutlery too!). It wasn’t great to wipe my mouth and hands with the same serviette through the 30+ dishes we had. Sugar was provided at the coffee/tea station, but milk was missing.
I would go again to try more items on the menu.
Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service:...
Read moreCopper Beyond Buffet at Gaysorn Amarin is truly one of the most impressive food and beverage operations I’ve experienced, and I say this as a former food and beverage professional who has worked in some of the finest high-end establishments. From the moment you step into the space, you are welcomed by an elegant and well-curated atmosphere that perfectly sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
We had the privilege of indulging in an array of dishes, and every single item was crafted with precision and attention to detail. A standout for me was undoubtedly the truffle soup—a luxurious, velvety delight with an exquisite depth of flavor that showcased both sophistication and creativity. It was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had and set the tone for the rest of the meal.
Here’s what we ordered and loved:
• 202 Sea Bass Beurre Blanc: Perfectly cooked, tender, and complemented by a rich, buttery sauce that elevated the dish to perfection. • 207 Hokkaido Scallop a la Plancha: Beautifully seared scallops, bursting with freshness and flavor. • 408 Fettuccine with Hokkaido Scallops and Truffle: The creamy pasta paired with the delicate scallops and the earthy aroma of truffle made this a highlight. • 508 Hokkaido Scallop with Hijiki Seaweed: A harmonious blend of textures and umami that brought out the best in the scallops. • 701 Australian Wagyu Sushi: Melt-in-your-mouth perfection with just the right balance of fattiness and flavor. • 706 Unagi Sushi (x2): The eel was smoky, tender, and absolutely divine. • 708 Salmon Roll: Fresh and expertly rolled—an excellent choice for sushi lovers. • 709 Mini Chirashi: A beautifully presented dish with premium-quality seafood and rice. • 905 Crispy Soft Shell Crab: Wonderfully crunchy and seasoned to perfection, this dish was a delight to savor. • 909 Argentinian Prawn Tartare: A refreshing and creative dish that highlighted the natural sweetness of the prawns.
The service was impeccable, with staff who were attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we felt well cared for throughout the meal. The quality of ingredients and the artistry in preparation are evident in every bite, and the team at Copper Beyond Buffet has mastered the balance between luxury and accessibility.
If you’re looking for an elevated buffet experience where every dish tells a story and leaves a lasting impression, this is the place to be. I cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to...
Read moreWell known ayce with different packages offered. Quality of food was excellent. Reservations are needed for this place. Do not think walk-ins are even entertained. I reserved lowest tier package. For me it is enough. Unless you want the lobster. Once you have your reservstion, arrive 10-15 min earlier than your tjme slot. You join a queue to get your table and I saw some pay their balance or do some add ons. I paid mine full when I booked. They assign your table and wait for them to announce your time slot to enter , find your table and eat. Quality of food is good. They have several stations for the food with the entry to the stations clearly marked. Oysters were popular, some sushi rolls are ordered and delivered to your table on individual plates that looked like rock containers. They have glasses on the table for you to get your drinks. They do have soda fountains, water and coffee cups are stocked near the coffee machine. They also have a bar, where you bring your own glass, place it in the copper mug and the " bartenders" (they do not dispense alcohol) give you your choice of drink which are fruit punch, honey lemon and other type of juices. My favorite is the truffle soup with a side of croissant. Flavorful, savory, umami. Salmon sashimi is fresh and had several of those. One thing I can say, is be careful when you start walking, a lot of people are not paying attention, busy taking photos with their phones, or rushing to get food that I almost got bumped while holding plates. The stations have smaller signs and sometimes it's hard to figure out what they are serving, especially if it's your first time there. They also have made to order desserts in small bite size servings like toast with salted egg, cute chocolate molten lava cake and the dessert station had delicious cheesecak, macarons, hazelnut tartlet (loved this one) and some panacottas. Copper is not cheap. Almsot $50/person for thailand. They boast as the best in the country. A good place for special occasions but come on an...
