We saw this bar in social media which seems quite popular. And so we decided to give it a try since we are in Gaysorn area.
We were greeted warmly and seated in a corner table. I have to confessed that I do not like the area where Im seated. I don't feel comfortable with this corner seat. Its too tight.
There are lots of craft beers and I only manage to taste some of them and they are all good!
Now I was deeply shocked and very disappointed that the Guinness wasn't serve in a Guinness glass, or even a tulip glass. The pouring technique for a perfect pint of Guinness has a lot to do with a tulip glass and that is why, in my opinion, Guinness must be served in a tulip glass. This wrong choice of glass really diminished my entire Guinness experience. I have drank Guinness in many bars, restaurants, in several countries and this is the first time I encountered this...
Anyway we ordered some food for dinner: Mountain full of chicken wings Spicy chili garlic pasta with shrimp and tobiko Hot pot seafood tom yum with instant noodles Pork knuckles with basil chili
The chicken wings were out of this world! They were very well seasoned and cooked perfectly while still able to retain the juiciness inside. Very well done!
Spicy chili garlic pasta with shrimp and tobiko - The pasta was over cooked. The texture of the pasta is too hard. Luckily the dish taste is good. This dish will be perfect if the pasta were cooked to the right texture.
Hot pot seafood tom yum with instant noodles - This dish was a delight! I really enjoyed this dish. It is spicy but not too spicy, which is perfect for me. The noodles are cooked perfectly with the right springiness. The seafood are very fresh.
Pork knuckles with basil chili - The pork knuckles were too dry. I can't say i enjoy much but the sauce that came with it save this dish.
The live band are excellent! Great choice of songs from them! Really enjoyed it!
All in all, I really enjoyed the excellent service level from the staffs. Very attentive and...

Check with the restaurant on the promotion, they always have the weekly promotion. Thai love to have spicy dish with their alcohol. If you can't tolerate spicy food, please make sure that the restaurant reduce the spicy level. If you'd like to bring a car, the restaurant can stamp the parking ticket of Gaysorn Amarin parking lot, please check with the maximum hour they can cover. Also, plan the travel time well, if you don't want to stuck around there for hours. It usually gets less traffic after 23.00 hrs. Read moreFifteen beers on tap, including Thai craft and Brewave's own beers at decent prices for BKK. Fourth-floor terrace over a busy area. Wide-ranging menu with big meats, small plates, hearty Western and spicy Thai. Beer-wise, this is easily the best craft beer bar in the fancy mall area till you get to Hair of the Dog Phloenchit. Food is hit or miss, with the safest, tastiest bets on the lower end of the price spectrum. Beer selection comes and goes, often with too many hefeweizens or overpriced hazy IPAs from Europe—there are honestly better ones made in Thailand. And no need to have beers from Full Moon, which is Singha—actively works against local small breweries, and anyway the Full Moon beers are widely available in most of the fancy hotels around here. Daytime is nice and quiet, and you can drink here between 2 and 5 pm. Evening means overly loud live music, which the locals seem to love, but I prefer good conversation without shouting. A big plus: Service here has always been great. And you'll definitely find things worth eating and...
