We recently visited this restaurant during a family trip to Thailand, and it was our first time there. We were delighted to stumble upon it right next to our hotel as we were craving Indian food. We ordered a variety of dishes including Roti, Naan, Chapathi, Puri, Butter Chicken, and Chenna Masala. The flavors were fantastic, reminiscent of homemade meals.
The staff provided excellent service, especially considering we were a group of 10 and needed to combine tables. Despite one table being occupied, they kindly convinced the other party to move, allowing us to sit together comfortably. We appreciate both the restaurant staff and the understanding of the other guests.
One thing to note is that the portions of Chapathi, Roti, Naan, and Puri were on the smaller side, so keep that in mind when ordering. However, the taste more than made up for it.
The ambiance was delightful, transporting us to India with its decor and Indian music playing in the background. I would highly recommend this restaurant to families and seniors visiting Phuket who crave authentic...
Read moreProbably the strangest eating experience I have had had for the following reasons:
had to explain what popadoms were waiter didn’t seem to understand or had heard of any of the food on the menu half of the order wasn’t available but no real options to change quality of the popadoms was eye wateringly poor- pliable and somewhat soggy waiting time was about 45 minutes then were told that they didn’t have the main item we ordered waiter thought the lassi drink was a food item and kept asking whether we’d received items he’d (not yet) delivered waiter just laughed when he said the food wasn’t available after waiting for 45 minutes for it waiter asked for own tip twice despite terrible service
Overall, a wildly unexpected and hilariously disappointing dining experience.
Unless this was a one off experience, it’s baffling to see the...
Read moreSure wish I had see. The reviews before stepping into this place. The food was ok. Their mango lassi is NOT mango lassi. My kids tasted it and said that it didn’t taste right. The papadums were ok. Bhindi masala, garlic naan, plain naan and the aloo paratha were ok in portions and flavors. Sadly the lamb roganjosh was a rip off! So much curry and no real meat. The few pieces were bones or fat. Why charge 320baht and rip off your customer on portions. You’d get repeat customers and better reviews if you were fair with your meat portions!
Take it from a person who cooks and eats Indian food regularly- don’t bother going here.
Oh and the excuse from the staff was “this is how the butcher sells us the meat!” Free advice - find...
