I feel the need to stand up for all pizza lovers. I come from a family and a culture with a long tradition of eating pizza. This was a pizza that I won't forget because I ate it in Patong... but the pizza itself was bad!!
The decoration of the restaurant is of a typical Italian trattoria, nothing to say about it. The service was correct, but we asked for take away so it is not relevant in this opinion.
It is a pizza without character, without identity. The oven they use looks correct (Neapolitan type) but the dough has little salt and sponginess. Tomato sauce has no flavor: Thai food has basil, Italian food too. And garlic? no garlic. The cheese is perhaps the weakest point, little and tasteless.
The price is expensive even for a European standard. The pizza is mediocre but the price is not. The best pizza in Napoli,Italy is worth 7 euros, in New York its 5.95 dollars! This came out at the change of the date 10 euros. I do not pretend that they make pizzas with D.O.P. or I.G.P ingredients from Italy. Here there is a lack of respect for ingredients and excessive prices for a pizza that is not worth it. I understand that covid has modified the cost structure for hotels and restaurants but It's simple: either better quality or cheaper price, otherwise its a real tourist...

This restaurant is an absolute gem for Italian cuisine lovers! I had the pleasure of dining here recently, and every bite was a celebration of authentic flavors.
The penne arrabbiata was simply delicious—perfectly cooked al dente pasta coated in a rich, tangy, and slightly spicy tomato sauce that had me savoring every forkful. It was a balance of simplicity and bold flavor done to perfection.
The bruschetta was exquisite—crisp, golden bread topped with a fresh and vibrant mix of tomatoes, basil, and olive oil that tasted like a slice of Italy itself. Each bite was a delightful burst of freshness and texture.
The ambiance was warm, it can be more inviting but the staff were attentive. Whether you're a seasoned Italian food enthusiast or just dipping your toes into the cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be returning to explore more...
Read moreThe food is good, but the kind of treatment they provide to customers is just a pity. I was having my second dish after some spaghetti when a waitress came to pick up half of my pizza that I had not finished yet (obviously) and my drink (half full). She also brought my bill when I didn’t ask for it! Then, the owner came to pick up my plate and collect the payment. To be fair, the food was good, but they just made it an unfortunate outcome and prevented me from actually enjoying my dinner. I’m not sure if I was an unwanted costumer (?), but the restaurant was definitely not full, so I don’t see why is there a necessity to kick out customers in such a rude manner. The lack of respect skyrocketed when people at the pizza oven at the front started to laugh when I mentioned this whole situation to the owner. Not coming back, and wouldn’t recommend it unless you wanna eat quick...
